There’s a soft snicker from Red as he steals a glance through the glass window at the familiar elemental flitting around from table to table. Due to a switch in job roles, Red hadn’t gotten the chance to really check in with them and see how things were. So, why not greet them in the most annoyingly way possible? Knowing fully well they’d gripe (but secretly enjoy the poor sense in humor), he waits until the busyness within dies down and dwindles towards closing hours before putting his little mischievous acts into play. And suuudddenly- there’s sticky notes. Lots of sticky notes. Some with crappy puns, wrong jokes, and dorky crappily drawn emojis decorating the majority of the surface areas. Tables, bar, doors. He just kept them all up there when Frost headed to the back to fetch something. Muffling the childish laughter, he ports outside and stays near the door to listen in.

As far as habits went, Alex could have had worse ones, though like many habits, coming to this place on a regular basis posed a certain amount of risk. To be honest, she wasn’t entirely sure how she had even made coming to this particular restaurant a habit. She had been curious when it had opened up near the University, and despite the whispers and rumors from both students and staff, she’d decided to try it out.
The restaurant was, in fact, monster owned. It was one of the rumors she’d confirmed her first visit. It had been one of the things that had made her somewhat hesitant to return, particularly when she’d had the misfortune of somehow attracting the proprietor's attention enough to come over and check on her.
Thankfully the monster, and Ice Elemental apparently, had kept the conversation short and simple, asking whether she was enjoying her meal and getting good service.
It took her a long time to go back, but both the convenience of it’s location, the actually very competitive pricing, and the frankly downright good food had been enough to draw her in for a second visit. Since then, she seemed to come to this place on a semi-regular basis, whenever she simply hadn’t felt up to making her own lunch. And despite her hesitation, she always seemed to be greeted by the owner with a wave, and perhaps a few words. After a while, she figured it was something he simply did with a lot of patrons.
Today was a little different, however, as she wasn’t in town due to work but other errands, and instead of coming in for lunch, she had decided to slip in during the dinner hour. And that’s where the moment found her, nestled into the booth she’d been seated at, browsing over the menu, paying little mind to her surroundings.

Ah... a night alone. Frisk was over at the skeleton brothers’ house, to spend the night. Oh, how they adored them... and while Toriel loved Frisk, she had to admit, it was nice to be alone sometimes. Besides, it was healthy for them, was it not? Of course she would encourage them to have friends to go and hang out with!
Hmm... What should she do, though? It had been quite a while since she truly had a night to herself... and here she was, sitting and reading, as she did every night. Her gaze raised from her book and instead went over to her phone. Hmm... Perhaps someone would be awake for her to talk to. That would be nice, wouldn’t it?
She raised herself from her chair, setting her book aside, before going and picking up the phone of interest. As she scrolled through her contacts, her mind mused, thinking of who would be the best to talk to. She did not want to disturb anyone, after all... and then she came upon Frost’s name. A small smile grew on her face, and she tapped it to open a message.
Yes... She very much enjoyed talking to him. This would be fine!
[Good evening, Frost! How are you?]

How do Helen's lemon squares taste? Are they actually good or does only Helen think they're fine?
[Let's just say that they rival Pappys' cooking ;D Helen thinks they taste just fine, but she has a gut of steel. So, her cooking doesn't affect her.
