This Fig Whisky Sour is a delicious take on the original whisky sour. It has the rich sweetness of fig syrup and the sourness of fresh lemon juice. Adding egg white makes it creamy and gives it a frothy top.
Ingredients: 2 oz whisky. 1 oz fresh lemon juice. 0.75 oz fig syrup. 1 egg white.
Instructions: In a cocktail shaker, mix the egg white, lemon juice, whisky, and fig syrup. To mix the egg white, dry shake the mixture very hard without ice for 10 to 15 seconds. Put ice in the shaker and shake it again for another 15 to 20 seconds, or until it's very cold. Pour through a strainer into a glass filled with cold ice. If you want, you can add a slice of fig or a lemon twist as a garnish.
