Annals of Frozen_2nd edition

Greetings to the Frozen fandom! Today is Thanksgiving Day of 2022, also a special day for Frozen. I think most Frozen fans may have made their own way to celebrate the ninth (third) anniversary of Frozen (Frozen II)’s premiere. As for me, I prepared a special gift for Frozen: the second edition of Annals of Frozen, also the second formal work made by Arendelle Archives. Now, I am honored to present this book to Frozen fans all over the world!

Annals of Frozen is a chronicle for Disney’s Frozenverse that summaries the complete history of both Arendelle and Northuldra, based on nearly all the official works related, including shorts, videos, novels, comics, etc. Its first edition was released in August last year, and since then, we’ve received many valuable feedbacks on it, which contributed a lot to the update. Even if you have read its first edition, I still recommend you to read this new edition, not only because it includs lots of post-Frozen II events from novels and comics like Polar Nights: Cast into Darkness (Note: this book contains SPOILERS for NEARLY ALL Frozen-related works released 2013-2022!), but also for that we corrected some mistakes and made many great changes on it, like the new beautiful cover designed by Winter Loves Summer. I’m sure it will provide you with very different reading experiences!

Much thanks to my friends who are willing to review my work, Winter Loves Summer, FrozenHeart and Yumeka, especially Winter Loves Summer and FrozenHeart who spent a lot of time reviewing this book very carefully for several times. And I also want to say thanks to all the Frozen fans who have contributed to this book by pointing out mistakes or providing valuable suggestions. I cannot accomplish such high-quality work without all these helps.

Last, it has been my dream to make a video version of this book so that more people, not only core Frozen fans, can learn more about the events in Frozen world and how they are related, but making a video is not as simple as writing a chronicle. Let’s talk again about my obsession : canon and frozen book 📚🤓

So this is my guess :

Comics :

Canon they change nothing of the storyline so we can enjoy them without being bother at all 🤨 on the contrary frozen 2 with Elsa giggling at the duke when this is only on comic who see him getting redeem makes me think that films defintly take them into consideration. So to me canon until proven otherwise and in this case it’s has been the contrary that happened it’s like ( imo) the movie had to not contradict the comics 🤓🤨

For the others book I heard there is one and the same person that supervised all books that are published by Disney

A frozen heart

A frozen heart is already canon in the sense that book really when you have read it that’s it main flaw it’s just....the movie. There is nothing new at all. Then for the small other stuff I would stay Hans main motivations the names of his family and and how evil they are are canon. ( confirm in an other very short media that was a comic) so canon You know the main new stuff from that book...agnarr and Iduna short characterization at the start I would say also 🤨As for the rest what Anna said in page 244 what Hans said in page 6888888 😅 I don’t think that’s canon in the sense someone can comes and contradict it. Non important character got their name contradict like Anna horse kjekk who turn into havski into others media. Like for example Lars said in page I don’t know the number that arendelle is useless for the southern isles... but after in dangerous secret he has always envied arendelle fjord and dangerous secret authors didn’t knew about the existence of a frozen heart so all those stuff are not really canon since they can be contradict but we can take them in the sense we want.

In the end forest of shadow is a nice episode between the first and the second movie. It’s added stuff to the universe so I would say it’s existence in frozen storyline can be considered canon but again some small stuff like what it said about Elsa or Anna at page 44899 exactly can be easily contradict for how much people are working on this franchise.

Dangerous secret :

Again it’s expand the universe the story agnarr Iduna couple the girls grandparents it’s a stand alone book it’s officially published by Disney I just can see how it can fall into fanon category. Sorry book I have buy you still not read you but I will someday I promised 😅 and the authors was in contact with frozen team I heard too...she has been asked about the question of the canonicity of her books but I don’t think she knew from her answers.

Conclusion : i really reallly think disney and the frozen team don’t care as us the fan about canon. Disney wants to makes money. Chris buck said in a interview fan can do what they want and Jennifer lee always said when she talk about frozen «  to me ». « Imo » sooo this behavior just show they dont act like word of gods by prefer let it to the public 🤓 and again there is soooo much different person at Disney difficult to makes everything faithful to each other’s. But they got the volonty since they have the kingdoms names the same in all product. 🤨

Frozen canon

I had posted the YouTube video from OverlordDVD on the "Rules of Canon", and I agree that the rule that says that "The original creator (in this case, Jennifer Lee) has the right to declare what is canon and what is not. With that, Jen has declared that the shorts Frozen Fever" and "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" are not canon.

Now as a fan, I can disagree, and so I do. Here's why. The two short films show glimpses of the reconciliation and healing going on between Elsa and Anna. FF has Elsa singing in "Making Today A Perfect Day", about:

Anna never having a real birthday before, except outside Elsa's locked door.

"For everything you are to me and all you've been through, I'm making today a perfect day for you!" (Elsa, i.e., Idina Menzel, singing)

OFA has them and Olaf looking for Christmas traditions because the girls never had once since King Agnar had the gates closed and the girls separated, until digging into Elsa's trunk, Anna and Elsa find all of the gifts Anna slipped under Elsa's door. Drawings and a homemade doll of a snowman, which is Olaf, who became their tradition because it kept their love and hope to be together again alive through those lonely years.

Plus the books and comics that gives the reader a look into their lives through the stories.

I can see Jen's point as well. F2 is going to be a bit darker as we delve back into Arendelle, 3 years after The Thaw, where we get to see Elsa and Anna, "warts and all" so to speak. Where Anna's clinginess and Elsa's anxiety and confidence issues come to surface. This movie will put them to the test.

So that's MHO, I take in a lot more for this as canon, but again, official canon is what Jennifer Lee has called it.

Frozen Headcanon - Hans

There’s been speculation about how the Stabbington Twins (Tangled) being Hans’ brothers. My theory is that yes, they most definitely could be, seeing as they take place during the same time (thanks to the screen cap proving that Rapunzel and Eugene were at the coronation.) I think it’s a pretty solid theory as they could be 10th and 11th in line for the throne just ahead of Hans and since they figure they’ve got no chance, they may as well be ruffians in general, but also specifically steal crowns almost to symbolize their desperation to have some sort of power, even if it is only in physical form instead of an actual title. Thoughts?
