i decided to make this challenge because i really wanted to start a legacy (i also love frozen yoghurt and anything adjacent). i spent a longtime trying to make the generations have lots of lore, backstory and drama but keeping the gameplay structured but also as free as possible! all the current challenges included careers and packs i did not own, as i only own a few, so if this helps anyone else i hope you enjoy!
this is also heavily inspired by @alwaysimming and @lilsimsie's not so berry challenge!
general rules
play without unnecessary cheats (of course cas.fulleditmode and bb.moveobjects is allowed!)
your sims must have some sort of representation of the colour dedicated to your generation! this may be the smallest thing like eyes, or larger including skin, hair or clothes!
the heir can be any gender or orientation (except for raspberry sos)
once the heir reaches young adult, the next generation starts (unless stated otherwise)
the lifespan may be set to normal, however if you wish to challenge yourself, short works too!
you can situate your heir in any map unless stated otherwise
the heir does not have to be your first child! it can be any of your children unless it is stated you can only have 1
this one is completely optional, but after i have moved out an heir i love to add the previous heir's household to other households and therefore they can do their own things through neighbourhood stories!

Gen 1 Signature Tart

at 18, you chose to skip university and start your writing career, hoping book royalties would help you escape. you moved to henford-on-bagley for a fresh start, determined to build the stable, loving family you always wished for. you provided for your family, becoming a loving homebody who would always cook the best sunday roasts.

as you grew older, your curiosity led you beyond the quiet town. the forests of henford gave way to adventures in glimmerbrook, moonwood mill and forgotten hollow. what began as a childhood fascination soon felt like something more—a pull toward something hidden. was it just a phase, or was there a deeper purpose guiding your journey into the unknown?

Everything I had for lunch at Opa’s and Orange Leaf!
We started off with this traditional Greek coffee/milk drink, and I have to say that it was pretty good…up unit till you got down with the froth on top (which was fairly bitter), but it was a fairly enjoyable drink.
After that, we got ourselves a gyro platter with a (generous) side of rice. It was a wise choice on the kitchen staff, because it was really good. As for the gyro stuff, it was very delicious—very well seasoned shaved of lamb, pita bread wedges, and tzaziki sauce!
As for dessert, we stopped at Orange Leaf and got ourselves three different froyos—vanilla/brownie batter mix topped with chocolate rocks, roasted marshmallow/cookie fairy mix topped with white chocolate chips, and watermelon topped with strawberries. All three flavors were really good, but my favorite was the vanilla/brownie batter!
