Pyramid Lake Fly Fishing Report
Supposedly there is going to be a press release coming out explaining the lake is closed until sometime in April. The road washouts are not going to be easy to fix. Hopefully, they can get up to speed quickly as Pyramid lake is an important part of the local economy up there. We will keep you posted.
Pyramid Closure Update
John Fochetti reports on 1.19.17
The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe says Pyramid Lake remains closed to fishing and other recreational activities.
Permits are not being sold to allow fishing at this time.
The Tribe says Sutcliffe is still without most utilities and State Route 446 remains closed due to several washouts from Nixon to Sutcliffe. The docks at Pelican Point have been severely damaged, and will require immediate repairs.
The Tribe says it will notify the public when the lake reopens.
