Dogfish head brewing
Owl Farm Blueberry White Grape Fruit Ale (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Very cider-like in appearance without a ton of carbonation, and smells of tart real blueberry and some white-wine like notes, which makes sense, given its composition. Still pretty clear it is beer up front, but relatively straightforward and centered on the tart blueberry. Quite refreshing and tasty.
Fat Head’s Bumbleberry Honey Blueberry on tap at Chickie’s and Pete’s @ PHL. A 3 of 4. Smells quite strongly of blueberry and some fruity sweetness. More blueberry -- a bit candy-like -- in the body, and some definite honey sweetness, too. Finishes dry and clean -- not too sweet or fruity, and quite enjoyable.
Don’t steal the beer, or you could get apri-caught . . .
If one’s not sure which berry to choose, draw a straw . . .
Sammy goes fruity . . .
Better be cherry . . .
. . . keen . . .
