Honestly the only remotely "easy" pet for kids is a pet rock.
This is honestly true though??? So many small, “easy” pets are actually very time consuming and difficult to take care of in the best possible way? Like rats, hamsters, birds, and reptiles all require serious time and monetary commitments. I feel like people don’t realize that. ANY pet should be viewed as a serious commitment, not a throwaway for your kid to get bored with and ignore after a week.
