This is my entry for @codingcabin‘s coding awards : fruitilicious challenge.

Note regarding sidebar image sizes:

If you choose either the circle or square shape, the dimensions are 100px by 100px.

For the fruit shape, the dimensions are 140px by 140px. However, depending on the type of fruit you’ve selected, only certain areas of your image will be visible. See example below:

Coding Awards’ fourth challenge focuses on brilliance, colors, and fruit!

Guidelines: Your entry must be bright, colorful, and feature fruit! 

Try to make your entry summer themed!

Keep readability in mind  - using bright colors can be tricky

hey guys, about the new challenge, do i need to put a fruit picture on my code? or is it optional?

Hey there.

Your theme/page has to have the fruit in the code, yes. It has to be a feature of your work or it doesn’t qualify to the challenge.

For example, you can use fruit icons as navigation links or add fruit as decoration, or use a fruity background. Alternatively, you can also recreate fruit patterns through CSS or illustration if you’re skilled enough.

Simply having photos (e.g. sidebar images or post images in the theme/page’s preview) doesn’t count. The fruit has to be part of the code itself.
