I started the manga in middle school and only recently finished watching Fruits Basket (2019). No one prepared me. I am so elated and so completely unsatisfied at the same time, what happened to the other ten+ couples?? Yuki and Machi, Hatsuharu and Isuzu, Hiro and Kisa, Hatori and Mayu, Ritsu and Mitsuru!!?
Not only romantic relationships, but friendships, too! I wanted Akito and Tohru's visits, Hana and Outani's reuinions, and Kisa as the flower girl at Tohru's wedding!! I need holidays and gatherings! Kyo and Yuki getting along!
Grandpa Kyo and Grandma Tohru were cute, but we didn't really even get to see them!
This will keep me awake at night, so I might just have to headcanon for the first time to satiate my hunger for follow-ups on the others.
