Okay but like what how would Toni/y react to this sweet, helpless, sweaty man-child that is Eddie Brock and his parasite Venom and their utter ridiculousness in general? Like, Toni/y is in CA for something and just happens to run in to some Crime that Venom is already there for and realizes the entire Mess that happened at The Life Foundation had something to do with these two? Just saw the movie and OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH

Okay so if Toni had never met Eddie pre Venom then I imagine she’d been more than a bit suspicious but kind of charmed by this sweet, helpless, sweaty man-child who wears bracelets and stutters around her.  She knows he’s not exactly flush with cash but she saw him slip that homeless woman a $20 before she could even reach for her wallet.

And then she runs into Venom during the middle of shenanigans and Toni’s perfectly prepared to go at this slime boy with the armor if needs be.

She’s not expecting the tongue or the slightly handsy tentacles, or the extremely blunt flirting.

Or the fact that Venom turns into sweet Eddie.

So even though Rhodey’s voice is screaming in the back of her head for being an idiot she’s willing to hear him out and find out what, exactly, is going on.

Oh my god idk if this is already on a playlist somewhere because the link is escaping me but My Blood by Twenty One Pilots 1000% makes me think of Bucky/Toni(y). The lyrics and just everything!!

OH yeah it’s on a playlist or two of mine cause I love that damn song.  I could see it as a WinterIron thing real easy but I’m gonna be honest and say that My Blood is such a Toni/Rhodey thing for me cause:

hello i have gotten a total of 5 hours of sleep the past few days and am a bit delirious but at this point it's 1:21 AM and I've finished re-reading like 3 of your stories in CoC and I love them even more now that they've helped me stop spiraling(ish) that is all

The Subtle Knife
