Ever procrastinate by learning something completely unrelated to what you’re supposed to be doing? I should be catching up on physiology but I just caught myself in the middle of an hour long video on lambda calculus. I don’t know how I got there.

I GOT AN A ON MY FIRST GRAD PHYSIOLOGY EXAM!!!! 😆😆😆😆
9.18.19: I think being required to memorize the twelve cranial nerves is a rite of passage 😂 I’ve gone over them in other classes but this was the first to insist we memorize them. Paraphrasing my professor “You need to know all of them and it’s going to be free points on your exam -- most of you are going to med school so you’ll thank me for this later!”

9.12.2019: Starbucks and sarcomeres :) I've never been a huge fan of this topic but its going to be on next weeks quiz so there's no better time to start than now. Also! Two pieces of advice:
If you chose A three times in a row, that doesn't mean the 4th answer can't be A. In fact, it's probably A.
When the word FALSE is in all caps... choose the false statement.
Common sense but maybe my nerves got to me... I made those mistakes on the last quiz and it cost me 2 questions 😭
11.13.2018: Notes from neurobio when we talked about EEG (aka, a good reason to add some artwork😁)
10.15.2018: Quick checklist of what I need to cover today and tomorrow. It’s nearly halfway through the semester which is when I get the “oh no I’m failing everything” feeling. I skipped the gym today to work on my CS homework and somehow ended up starting my bio notes instead. Is it really procrastinating if you work on something else?
10.31.2018: It’s midnight and my textbook is haunted 👻
11.26.2018: Ooof... the last few days have been mentally rough. Sometimes it’s like everything is crashing down and it’s like a literal weight on my chest.
Why am I posting this? The semester’s winding down and it’s time to focus and get out of my funk. I use chill mixes like this to help me concentrate and this one’s been on repeat as I work on my final project. This one really calmed me down. If anyone likes to study with music, give it a listen!
