In 1942, Fry’s Cocoa ads target women, encouraging them to buy Cocoa every week. As more women began working towards the war effort, Fry’s campaigns change and aren’t aimed exclusively at housewives. Now it is advertised as a product that will be beneficial for working men and women. Towards the end of 1943, it is shown as a family food that brings together fathers with their children.
