This is not a hate post on the old art style of Ghost Eyes, I've been reading it for awhile now (5-6 years) and have literally watched the art style shift and have ALWAYS adored it... But ugly Tobias, bleach blonde Rudolph, and the ooooo so strangely drawn hands bring me down to my damn ROUTES. genuninely, I have so much love for this artstyle and I'd do just about anything to see it come back ...bring me back my eye-linered Tobias! Please!

im honestly really sickened by some of the things I saw today on Tumblr in the GE fandom, you know who you are. I'm taking a small break from posting my GE art. everything going on in this fandom has been so stressful and it feels like we never catch a break and it's all began to pile up. I'm so disgusted. I don't know when I'll go back to fanart posting, it probably won't be too long but I just need a break.

Genuinely asking, why do people want Lucas to be a worse character than he already is?

Obviously, I'm a Lucas fan, BUT that's because I love how he's written, I actually enjoy his flaws ...I think they make him very unique and more deep as a character, but I sometimes see people ( this is NOT targeted at anybody, genuine curiosity ) that purposefully add things to his character, usually him being a pedophile or groomer or what not, to make him worse... I don't understand what's behind that.

And, what's funny, is that most of the time it doesn't make sense to his lore whatsoever— because I'm such a big Lucas fan, I know a bit more than most about the dude and there is... To say the least, a lot of misunderstandings about him I feel and that's just because his story isn't really delved into much. We are seeing a bit of it now, but that's only with Charlotte... A lot has happened in his life and it's not really explored, which is unfortunate because it leads to stuff like that!

( Luther has also spoken a bit about it, but he's not a very reliable source for info. )

And I get headcanons and such, and, honestly? Headcanon what you want, I guess. I just don't understand it and would love to understand why people like to make him worse than he is, I don't think his actions should be underplayed OR overplayed— doesn't he do enough? HAHA...

Genuine curiosity, this isn't meant to be targeted or come off as mean... I've just noticed this throughout the years I've spent in this fandom and it's finally gotten me to ask.
