I had an idea for a D&D character, this Cleric is literally just the slightly overprotective mom of one of the other party members who is only really there because she knows she can't talk her son out of going on an adventure so she's going along with him to make sure his teenage bravado doesn't lead him to dying in some monster's stomach and eventually ends up sorta adopting the rest of the party because they all had messy family lives (if they had family at all) and despite the fact that everyone else is a fully grown adult, they are still intimated by this human lady who's almost as short as a dwarf because no matter what race you are, you just don't back talk Mama (This is based on something I could absolutely see my own mom doing) any sorta divine power could be from her family's religion or maybe some homebrew goddess of maternal protection
