“I hope you know what you’re doing” with Carlivia in the figure skating!AU?
“Carmen!” Olivia shouted from across the courtyard. Carmen was with a few friends and stopped running when a familiar brunette came rushing at her.
“Hey, Liv. Aren’t you supposed to be in class?” Carmen asked. Her friends said they had to go or they’d be late for their next classes. Carmen smiled and said her farewells to them before her attention went back to Olivia.
“Well, I hope you don’t mind but I kind of signed us up for something. The rec center in town hosts this.. skating event. And I signed the both of us up. I’ve watched you skate and practice a few moves when it’s just us and you’ve gotten good.” Olivia smiled. Carmen watched her and quickly shook her head.
“I can do that, Liv. What if I embarrass myself?” Carmen asked her girlfriend. Olivia grabbed her hands and gave them both a tiny squeeze.
“Listen, it’s all for fun. You don’t have to do it. I just thought you’d like to try something new.” Olivia shrugged while she began to walk. Carmen rolled her eyes with a sigh.
“I hope you know what you’re doing. What time and when.” Carmen watched as Olivia’s face light up.
“Two weeks, Friday night at 6. Thank you so much, Carmen. I’ll see you after class. We’ll go get something to eat.” Olivia kissed her cheek before rushing off to her class. Carmen smiled to herself before entering the building to head to her class.
