Today's siren of the day is the Federal signal/ Fedelcode Model 5 by Federal signal and other companies!
So we are finally getting the different models? I guess! There are a few models to share which should get their proper posts soon but let's begin with the Federal Signal Model 5 today. Firstly built in 1948 the federal signal model 5 has a few models : the Type 3, the Type 3/5 and the Type 5/7/10 which might be familiar to you as it is the most successful siren in the line up. The production discontinued in the late 1980s due to decreasing demand. The sirens were Co produced with W.S Darley and Co. Other companies caught wind and were inspired by the simple design of the sirens. (.. And I kinda wonder if some siren types here are insured by the federal signal models!).
