I go by many names. I am 21, an artist, analog horror creator and writer. I am disabled and autistic and regularly talk about my struggles coming with being disabled and dealing with chronic pain.

Hi Mrs. CBC! First of all I am sending you love for all the work you do on this platform, and sending you strength for putting up with all the BS that you do ❤️ Secondly I hope you don't mind this use of your inbox but there is a cause I'd like to share which is close to me.

(Warning for brief police violence mention)

In May 2024, the University of California, Irvine, had the pro-Palestine encampment there dismantled and 47 people were arrested, some quite brutally. Among them was Dr. Tiffany Willoughby-Herard, professor of African American studies at UCI. Some may recognize her from a news clip about the arrests, where as she was being detained, she called out the chancellor of UCI for spending money that could have gone toward scholarships and housing on defending genocide.

That same chancellor has a personal, racist vendetta against Dr. Willoughby-Herard, and has decided to pursue disciplinary action against her, even though the charges for protesting were dismissed. She is now on academic suspension and has received a letter of censure for five years.

This leaves her without healthcare while she has chronic health issues, some related to her 2024 arrest. I wanted to share this fundraiser which goes toward her ongoing medical and legal needs: https://chuffed.org/project/156203-mutual-legal-aid-for-tiffany

At the same time I think it's also important for a great Black feminist academic to be able to thrive and continue her work within the corrupt UC system and in the very anti-Black Irvine area especially. its not that fiction doesnt have its place, its important and healthy to exercise the imagination, but non-fiction can do so much to boost and supplement that. if not for yourself, for your art or for the people you're around

Help a Disabled Trans Women Eat During an Awful Time

So I've been unable to work recently due to a new unidentified issue that's been making my pass out during my job, it's caused me to fall two times in the middle of my shifts over the last two weeks, and miss several other shifts due to passing out on breaks or at home on days I was going to work.

I work on my feet in a kitchen, and during my last fall I hit my head on a table as I fell, and needed a CT scan. I have been in and out of the hospital and every test has come back inconclusive.

I'm not currently able to support myself due to all the missed days at work, and could really use some help until I can figure this out

Moved in with a friend for the time being. Soon (a week or 2) her family is gonna move in here tho and I dont think they want us here long. Struggling to find a place because only one of four of us is employed right now. It fucking sucks. We're housed for now but we dont have much for savings and everyones eating through what they have bc they're y'know. Unemployed. We didn't meet the goal but because of my wife's job we just barely made it. Struggling to figure out next steps because places want our proof of income and shit but theres very little

not to ebeg but fuck im actually gonna cry. i took a few weeks off bc of a miscarriage due to r*pe which i LITERALLY told my manager (no one cares btw i ended up getting a second warning for my absences bc i already had a former written warning) and on top of that now i’m being made to feel bad because i took more time off due to literally bleeding and cramping from stress A WEEK after my period. even provided evidence bc they kept asking n triggering me and they genuinely dont care about my wellbeing at all. fuck this honestly… i resigned but i now i’m stuck and broke until i find another job. if anyone could pls help me out in the meantime i’d greatly appreciate it 😭 </3
