Thesis IV Film Assembly is where the film takes life!!! We had the greatest lifeguard as instructor in Professor Bill Benton, a truly hard working and genuine master!!! Professor Benton's credentials include an Academy Award for a movie that everyone should know DANCES WITH WOLVES. Professor Benton's heart includes humility and teaching in a comfortable environment! Film assembly opened my eyes as to how after editing my future films, I am going to breathe extra life into an already viable product--- a feature or short movie. But through the teachings in this course, I am going to plan on creating masterpieces!!! Stanley Kubrick is one of my heroes in terms of movie-making. For many reasons you can probably know why if you have ever seen a Stanley Kubrick picture show. Pure artist Stanley!!! In today's world with everyone capable of shooting with their phones, everyone is going to make movies, everyone should make movies!! Making movies is just cool and fun! Some films lead to something for the creator of the project. What success is in terms of art and films is always not dictated by quality and content of feature films! September 11, 2001 happened and without quoting facts it altered plans of everything for me. After being involved in the creative process for so long, 23 years and I am just beginning! Within those 23 years, I have cried over attempting filmmaking. I should have been a doctor, but I chose to pursue art and purely artistic life first. It has been a ride... I cannot wait to put the pedal to the metal after finishing #heavyrain HEAVY RAIN a short film by writer director editor, Brian Nissley. I am credited with Production Assistant on this movie. Without Film Assembly Brian had a video of collective images edited together. Professor Benton and hard work by all of us on Heavy Rain, the festival circuit should be abuzz with Brian's and Producer/ Co-Executive Producer, William Blue's short creative product currently Titled, Heavy Rain. Some artists take time to generate capital for their art. Another artist I am fond of is Vincent Van Gogh. Luckily I am not insane enough nor driven towards art, that was the past 23 years... Filmmaking is a marathon race. I better get in shape. I am planning an ensemble satirical comedy THE EASY. I wrote this original feature length screenplay. I am gathering my team to conquer the world with THE EASY!! Conquering the world through art and peace. Education through entertainment! FILM BUSINESS is our next course here at Full Sail University, after finishing a product, time to market and advertise Heavy Rain! Professor Benton and his demeanor are why this has been my favorite course in my Masters Degree!

Garden of Change, 2014.

A social participatory event held at The Plant Gallery and Art Alleys, Tallahassee, FL. October 11th from 4pm to 7pm during the annual Gaines Street Fest 2014.

Themed with the changing of the seasons, individuals were invited to participate in creating clay objects that would represent a change both emotional or mental that they've been wanting to let go of or discard.

This creation was then "planted" and exposed to the elements. The piece will dry out, crack, and eventually wash away. The disappearing of the object would symbolize closure to each individual, expelling it from the body, transferring it into an object and observe that object sink and disappear into the earth. 

Social and interactive practices such as this brings people together and opens up a dialogue for art and, in this case, clay. People were so eager to participate and be included in this project. Once it began it picked up momentum that carried it out until the end. 

I would, of course, like to thank every single person that came out and participated. The discussions and interactions were so enriching. It was way more that I imagined it to be. I met so many interesting people and I look forward to this happening once more.
