Hey, is there gonna be an homestuck halloween thing?
Hey! Sorry for the silence, it’s been a bit busy lately
Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to plan an FSUStuck halloween meetup. However, one of our own is holding a halloween get-together of sorts at her apartment this Thursday, and has kindly extended the invitation to us!
It’s not a huge production, but there is a Facebook event for it. I think it would be best if you contacted Brittney (@maggielacivious) about attending since it is her party and her apartment. Meaning, all inquiries about the specifics should be redirected to her!

Hey.. Im Thomas Carter, I go to FSU and am intersted in joining? I heard about this in my chem lab from 2 people that were in it(: (thank you) and am interested in joining.. I don't have a personal tumblr.. this is actualy an RP account of mine so using it for this is somewhat questionable but oh well... Yeah, I didn't ask much about it.. I presume this is sorta like a club? Idk I just like homestuck.:3
Hello! First of all, thanks for showing interest in the group. Participation from members is what keeps this group going, so it’s very appreciated.
FSUStuck isn’t like a club, so there’s no joining or applying. You may simply show up to the meetups! As of right now, there are no scheduled meetups, but please keep your eyes peeled for a post, or simply track the FSUStuck tag.
And the “send an ask” thing on the members page is purely for logging and contact reasons, so as long as you show up to a meetup, you qualify to be put on there.
Since this isn’t stated anywhere on the blog, I have published this ask. I hope you don’t mind!
For those of you who are arriving late to the meetup:
We've relocated to the study room in Wildwood! If you arrive please send an ask so we can send someone to go let you in. If you're near a tent for Moe's you're in the right place.
About how long will the meetup last? I work until 3:15 on Saturday (bluh), but I was thinking I might be able to catch the tail end?
There’s never been an end time for meetups before. The usual “end time” for an FSUStuck meetup has been whenever the last people leave, so it really depends on how many people show up. We’ve had very brief meetups due to low turnout, but we’ve also had all-day meetups as well. As far as tomorrow is concerned, I’m expecting quite a few people to show up just because of how many people responded to the first post of the semester, so you should be fine if you show up somewhat late.

Hey guys! I hope you're all excited for the meetup tomorrow. A quick change of plans has come up, I'm sorry to say. The SLC will be closed tomorrow, so instead of meeting inside the SLC, we'll be meeting in the courtyard outside of it. If it's too hot outside to hold our meetup outdoors the whole time, we can figure out a new location from there. I'll make sure to post where we relocate to if we have to, so those of you who cannot make it to the meetup until later, please keep your eyes out just in case!

Hey everyone! I'm happy to see that a handful of you have responded to the post from yesterday about having a meetup. Since it would be too last minute to have it this weekend, our first meetup of the semester will be on Saturday, September 14th at 12:00PM in the SLC! We will meet up in the area with the couches and tables, just find the people wearing the Homestuck shirts (I'll probably be wearing a Vriska shirt) and you'll be in the right place. This meetup is pretty laid-back, so don't feel obligated to come in full cosplay (You can if you feel like it, but I'm not sure that many people will be in full cosplay).
If you have any questions about the meetup, don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to seeing all of you next week!
Is it alright if people attending meetups are not in FSU, and/or are underage?
For the first part of your question, yes. Last semester we had a few people who weren’t attending FSU but lived nearby that joined us for some meetups. But our meetups almost always are held on campus, so please take that into consideration when you work out transportation and all that!
I’m not quite sure what you mean by underage, though? We won’t be drinking, if that’s what you’re worried about. As long as you can get yourself here, and it’s not too terrible of a commute for you, I don’t think anyone would mind you joining us.
