oh man, this new fairy tail chapter killed me. i’ve died and gone to heaven. gajeel confessing his feelings for levy is everything that i’ve ever wanted to happen in the manga! i started reading/watching fairy tail because of a fanart of gajevy that i saw, and oh, how glad i am for it!! it was so great! ch487 will fovever be one of my favourites in ft!

also, the next chapter is called “the two of us together, forever and always” please, PLEASE LET IT BE ABOUT GAJEVY, PLEASE!!!!!

Ok so this is a headcanon for the ft 488

SO as we all know that the next title chapter for FT 488 is”The two of us together,forever and always” and most of us agree that it’s relevan t to the noe canon Gajevy.Also,try as we might,we cannot deny the foreshadowing of their deaths(seeing as how  this chapter was and the next chap title)

so i had this angst theory(which struck me outta nowhere) which will prolly never be true.Hell,I personally hope it isn’t,but in any case,I’d like to share it, so bear with me please:

So basically after that bradman has been dealt with(read:killed),both gajeel and levy are in DIRE STRAITS.They are both gonna die due to the ethernano-destroying magic barrier particles,and then,levy goes to gajeel and,like,they are like exchanging words as though it’s their last times(basically,cue the gajevy moments) and then,when they kiss,levy uses her magic under the name ‘solid script mage:LIFE/(or maybe love,or something that ain’t so cliche?)’ and it like ends up giving life to gajeel who is dying.Levy,is already in a critical condition and she knows this’ll be her last word ever but she dosen’t regret it and gajeel ends up getting saved(though he just can’t accept that she did that) but then AHHHHH I CAN’T TAKE THIS I  CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT CAHPTER MY HEART OMGOMGOMG I HATE THIS STUPID HEADCANON SO MUCH I JUST WANTED TO SHARE IT BECAUSE I COULDN’T CONTROL MY OWN TEARS OMG HELPPPPP MEEEE I WANT GAJEVY TO LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER TOGETHER!!!!

The Chinese scanlation is “As long as (I can) protect the woman I love it’d be enough”. So it shares the same meaning translated by Mangastream. You can also wait till Wed to see how it’s translated in the official ver. by Crunchyroll.
