something new.
starter for @feyminki
as much as seoyeon hated to admit it she was not the witch she made herself out to be, and it was painfully obvious to her. ever since she was a little girl her abilities have always been subpar to her almost prodigy of her sister and for years she had attempted to be just as good as her, except for she always failed. she lacked the strength for the combat magic her sister was quite advanced in, could never seem to nail the conjuration spells her parents specialised in and whatever she was good at was only performed mediocre at best. the truth was she never had anything special about her.
seoyeon would often take days to try out a different practice and if she couldn’t figure it out by the end of the week then she’d give up. sure it wasn’t the best way to go about it but with every failed practice she grew more and more impatient to find something she could excel in to prove to her and her family that she deserved her title as a witch. this week’s attempt was necromancy, very far out of her comfort zone but would impress everyone she knew, all she needed was one spirit to talk to her. through the gossip she heard at the bar she had found of a witch who could guide her through it, a wongyeong witch at that, the perfect mentor.
the bookstore she stepped in was rather empty which meant she could go about her affairs without having to hide from the prying eyes and ears of the humans. through the grapevine she heard that she could find minki here and she was right after she spotted the male in one of the corners of the shop. perhaps seoyeon should’ve been more subtle with her approach but that had never got her anywhere before and she had no qualms with inserting herself into his life unprovoked.
“ hello, i need your help. ” she was quick to get to her point it almost made her sound a little desperate but at this point she had to acknowledge that she was.
