it’s monday night and noel finds himself, yet again, at the strip club. he doesn’t even come for the girls anymore, he comes for olivia. once upon a time, he only came when he was feeling low and he needed someone to cheer him up. but these days, he genuinely wants to see her, no matter his state of mind. she gets him in a way that no one has ever before. it’s scary, but also thrilling. he waits for her to come out as he drinks a beer at the back. when he doesn’t see her, noel is disappointed. maybe she doesn’t like seeing him so often. with a sigh and running his fingers through his hair, noel stands up and goes outside for a smoke. “oh, hey,” he says before he starts rolling his cigarette. “i didn’t think i’d find you here. i was inside, but i didn’t see you there,” he says, shy like a boy.
