freya-gagliardi:
Freya had gone to Vince’s house when she found out what had happened. She banged on his door, but not so loudly as to wake the kids if they were asleep. “V-Vinny! Open up!”
( @vincegagliardi )
Vince oculd tell something was wrong before he even opened the door, pulling Freya inside and into his arms for a hug. “Freya, what’s going on?”

Siggy hadn’t meant to keep it from Vince but now after their shift a couple nights ago, she was on the fritz. The one person she could trust to be honest with her and help her figure this thing out was Vince. So she made her way to Third Eye, taking a deep breath before stepping in. The words rushed passed her lips before she could even stop them, “Vince, I have feelings for Makoa.” She said clamping her hand over mouth and closing her eyes, “I… I kissed him. The other night in the diner.” She said dropping her head and sighing, “but all I could think about was potential ruining his reputation and the fact that he’s my boss.”
Siggy stopping by the shop wasn’t all too uncommon, but her reason why that day was a bit of a surprise. He had known about Makoa’s feelings for Siggy for a while now. While it did kind of sting that neither of them told him for a long while, he really wasn’t the type to hold a grudge. “Are you asking for my opinion or my advice?” He asks after a moment, looking back at his friend.
livbennett:
“Thank you, love,” Liv said, taking the glass of wine from Vince and kissing his cheek. She would only have the little bit of wine and that was it. She didn’t have much of a tolerance for alcohol to begin with. “Of course. I love it. I haven’t taught children their age in a few years, and honestly, things have changed a lot. I’ll do whatever I can to help them out.” Although she had her own papers to grade and PhD coursework, she would always make time to help the boys with their schoolwork if they had questions.
"So far I’ve been able to keep up, but I dread the day when math gets too hard for me.” Vince says, laughing softly. He had never gone to college, going straight from the life on the road to live in Crownsville and opening up his shop. He had taken a few business classes here and there, but nothing near a degree. “How’s school going for you though? Both your teaching and your program.”
leohirsch:
“I wouldn’t say rough, it was actually quite satisfying,” he replied, a slow smile spreading over his expression. “Definitely long, though, as only the best nights are.” Leo was aware that it wasn’t the normal parent thing to do, going out at night, getting into the trouble he still tended to get into. But he’d never really grown up, at least he hadn’t yet. “The diner sounds perfect.” Before they started walking, he took the time to wave at the little girl in the stroller, even going so far as to offer her a bright smile, the kind he reserved only for children.
It wasn’t really any of Vince’s business what Leo did, but he couldn’t help but worry a bit about both Harlee and Leo, wanting them both to be well. “The diner it is then.” He says, starting down the street with him, pushing Gia in her stroller in front of him. “Gia likes the pancakes there. Or she just likes playing with syrup, I’m not really sure.”
luckyarizona:
THE glass of juice in front of them served as a reminder of the time they spent on the road, always finding new things to entertain themselves. One of such activities had been juicing. Arizona got really into making their own juice. “That’s up for debate. Personally, I’m gonna nominate you for Dad of the Year. They don’t just give those mugs out to anyone, right?” they said, nudging Matteo and being rewarded with a smile. “I’ve met the Liv-ster, yeah. I’m gonna take her out to buy her first Louboutins.” Arizona had already begun circling the noodles around the fork with the help of their spoon. If anything was ingrained in them, it was how to properly eat pasta. “I mean they’re totally dead. Big dead. D-E-A-D dead, you know?” They lifted up the food and chewed, waiting until they had finished to begin again. “That’s not the problem. I just don’t know if my friend is serious about getting in contact with the dead. She seems a little afraid of the idea in that, like, curious but skeptical kind of way, but I don’t wanna make it worse by trying to do it myself. I was never that good at being a medium.” Palm reading was their forte, followed by tarot interpreting. They were far more on the physical spectrum than the spiritual.
"I’m pretty sure they do.” Vince jokes back, laughing softly. “Is that going to be my Christmas present then? I’ll act surprised, I promise.” He’d probably forget by then, if he was being honest. He was happy to hear that Arizona and Liv had met, a soft laugh leaving his lips at the mention of buying her heels. “Okay, then I can probably help you. Or your friend. Tell her to come by the shop. First reading’s on me.”
livbennett:
Liv had truly never been happier. After the various rough times she went through, she finally felt like she belonged somewhere. Now that she had a key to the house, she was nearly there all the time now. She loved having Vince and his children to take care of, and their nightly routine of eating dinner together was something she always looked forward to. Liv had been finishing up drying the remaining dishes, looking up as she heard Vince speak to her. “Sure, thank you. That would be lovely,” she said, folding the kitchen towel neatly. She rarely drank, but figured one glass wouldn’t hurt. “The boys should already be done with their homework, by the way. I helped them out earlier.”
Getting down the bottle of wine, Vince pours them each a glass, offering one to Liv with a smile. Vince wasn’t really a hard drinker, but he liked to unwind with a half a glass of wine at the end of the day. “Thank you. I have to admit, I’m not looking forward to the days when their homework is too hard for me to help them out with. Public school is a lot different then homeschool.”
leohirsch:
Leo had been out a little late the night before, and it showed. In the way he walked, slightly hunched with dragging feet, and the way he looked, disheveled and unshaven, and even the expression on his face when Harlee stood on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around him. He returned the hug with one arm, waving her off as she skipped up the steps of her school, and then slumped against the brick wall of the building, groaning and putting a hand to his head. When he opened his eyes again, it was to see a familiar adult dropping off their own kids, and he smiled in what he hoped was a friendly manner. Leo didn’t have many parent friends, but he liked this one a lot. “I don’t know about you, but I need something greasy and horrible for me, and I’m willing to buy two such meals if you have nothing better to do.”
@vincegagliardi
Vince was dropping Rafael and Matteo off at school, Gia busy babbling to herself in her stroller as they walk. He can see Leo across the way, walking over to him after the boys head inside. “Rough night?” He asks, eyeing the other man’s appearance, taking him in. “I don’t have to be at the shop until later today. Want to go to the diner?”
freya-gagliardi:
“Well, what good are you if you can’t help your baby sister?” she teased. “Nate’s trying, he really is, but he’s not super helpful.” Freya laughed. “We’re not having a big ceremony, just family and friends.” she shrugged. “Yay! I can’t imagine havin anyone else be the ring bearer and flower girl but them.”
"Sorry. I mean, I can still try to help. I feel like a lot of things that were in style when I got married probably aren’t anymore though.” Vince points out, shaking his head. “The boys will be very excited. Gia too, even if she doesn’t exactly know what’s going on.”
blixgagliardi:
Blix dropped her head, “do you want the rant about the wifi here now or save it for later?” She chuckled but shrugged. She couldn’t complain about her life especially not being back around family. She had missed them. “I’m better than I was though. Especially now that I have some of you guys back.”
"You know I don’t really have time for the internet, right?” Vince asks, laughing softly. He wasn’t really into social media or anything like that. “Good. I’m happy to have you back too.”
Milo Ventimiglia
Vince was busy washing the dinner dishes, handing the places over to Liv to dry. It was a normal evening for them, with all of them having dinner together and them cleaning up while his kids watched a little TV. Since giving Liv a key to the house, she had been spending more and more time with them, something that Vince really enjoyed. Things were going well between them, and he couldn’t be happier.
Turning the sink off, Vince dries his hands, turning towards Liv with a smile. “I think I’m going to have a glass of wine, would you like one?” He asks, walking towards the cabinet to get down the glasses.
@livbennett
freya-gagliardi:
Freya laughed, shaking her head. “It’s not too serious. I was wondering if you had any tips on wedding planning? I literally am having the worst time trying to plan it out.” she said with a sigh. “Speaking of the wedding, can Gia be our flower girl and the boys be the ring bearers?”
"Oh man. It’s been a while since I planned a wedding.” Vince replies, laughing softly. “There might be some websites that can help nowadays. Or maybe a wedding planner? I guess it depends on your budget.” He says, scratching the back of his neck. “Aw, of course. They’d all be honored.”
freya-gagliardi:
Freya smiled as she saw her older brother, leaning against the counter. “What? I just can’t pay my favorite brother a visit?” she laughed a little. “Actually, I have to ask you a question. Well, a couple of questions actually.”
"Of course you can. I was just asking.” Vince says with a soft laugh, looking back at his sister. “Uh oh, this sounds serious. What’s on your mind?”
Vince was in the back room of the shop looking, grabbing a few things to restock some shelves when he hears the bell on the door ring. “Be with you in a minute!” He calls out, emerging from the back with a box of crystals, smiling when he sees it’s Freya that had walked in. “Freya! Hey. What a pleasant surprise.” He says with a smile, moving to set the box down onto the counter. “You here looking for anything or were you just in the neighborhood?”
@freya-gagliardi
livbennett:
“Believe me, I will,” Liv said with a nod. She loved being at Vince’s house. Between him and his children, she didn’t feel nearly as lonely as she usually did. “You better enjoy spending time with me. You’re stuck with me now,” she teased him, a laugh escaping her lips.
"You practically live here anyways.” Vince points out, shrugging back at Liv. He and the kids all loved having her around. “I think there might be a problem if I didn’t, considering we’re dating and all.”
livbennett:
Liv spent the majority of her time at Vince’s house, so it made perfect sense for her to have a key and she appreciated the gesture. “Thank you, I’ll be sure to add it to my key ring immediately,” she said before closing the space between them to kiss him softly. “Now you’ve just made it possible for us to spend even more time together,” she laughed.
"Now you can come and go as you please.” Vince says, giving Liv a smile. It seemed silly that Liv didn’t have a key sooner with all of the time she spent at his place. “It’s a good thing I rather enjoy spending time with you then.”
