Allison worries about the people around her. At events like this, she especially worries about people like Zoe and Rex, who’s addictive tendencies could very easily be catered to. Her first priority, of course, is her best friend and bandmate. But she’s already ensured Zoe’s going to be okay (although that doesn’t stop her from keeping a watchful eye on the blonde), which gives her a chance to check in on her other friend. It’s a little harder to find him than anticipated - given the masks and all. But eventually, she’s able to pick him out of the crowd, and she slips next to him. “Hey,” she greets. “Having a good night?”

This could either be the best idea she’s had or the worst, and unfortunately there’s no way of knowing which it is. However, it’s the only idea Allison has and damn it she’s going to try. Healing is a very personal and time consuming process - but as much as she can help, she’s going to. Seeing Rex this way worries her, scares her a little. 

She calls first - the restaurant, not her friend - just to be sure his table is available, before heading over to Rex’s place. "Hey,” she greets, an almost singsong quality to her voice. It’s a clear indication that she’s up to something. “Get ready. We’re going to Rao’s.” Her voice takes on a demanding tone now, though there’s still a lightness to it. “And I already called to make sure they know we’re coming, so you don’t have a choice.”
