“Okay, what new books do you recommend?” Naomi came up to the front desk. She had a stack of books to return as well as over a dozen to donate. Being in the process of moving meant declutterring and downsizing. It was easy to decide what would be staying and going. “I have a few on hold digitally but you know I appreciate a good physical copy.” Naomi had been trying to read more authors outside of her usual. “Actually open to suspense thrillers and I blame Criminal Minds.” The plan was to get some books and maybe a pit stop. “Plus if your shift is over soon, we can get a late lunch.”

"I kind of feel bad I got him involved in all the drama, but I have a feeling that Will had a bit of a habit of involving himself in drama long before I came along. I know he likes trouble. We're really lucky neither of us ended up dead, really."

"I'm a pain in his ass and I know it. I'm hoping to wear him down so we can have some real fun but it doesn't seem to be working yet. I know he's got my back if I need to be bailed out of jail, or if i need someone to pick me up in a getaway car he's probably the person I'd call. Anyone who puts up with my dumb ass gets a gold star from me."
