Allison’s not sure what’s stronger - her sadness or her anger. They’ve put so much effort into their first album, so much effort into writing and recording the songs they wrote for and about Jane. Their first single - their first release in about three years - was supposed to be cause for celebration. But the comments that Allison’s seen in regards to their release on Wednesday have been overwhelmingly negative. It hurts, and leaves her concerned about what this means for the rest of their planned releases.

However, most of her is just concerned for Zoe.

As personal as it all felt for Allison, it had to feel even more personal for the blonde. She can only imagine how her best friend has to be taking things. “It’s going to be fine,” she finally says about the situation, unsure if she’s trying to reassure herself or Zoe. Where Zoe is concerned, she often feels as if she doesn’t have time to be anxious. This isn’t an exception. So even if she isn’t a massive optimist, she’s trying to stay positive about the situation. “You know. We still have our album coming out in March. I’m sure that’ll go better.” It has to go better.

When she was younger, Allison used to love storms. She always found something comforting about the roar of rolling thunder and way the rain would beat against her windows. But after everything - after the accident - she’s grown to hate them. They scare her, remind her of what was the worst day of her life. But as much as she hates them, she can only imagine how much more Zoe does. As freaked out as she is, her priority is taking care of her best friend.

So, as things start to kick off, she pushes her own fears aside and finds it in her to think quickly. Allison moves as many of Zoe’s plants away from the windows as she can - The likelihood that glass might break is slim, but she’d still rather not risk something happening to the greenery that the blonde cares so much about. From there, she gathers some supplies; Her guitar, a good number of their crystals, other such things. “We should light some candles before the power goes out,” Allison suggests as she sets things into a circle big enough for them to sit in.
