logan didn't want to approach nova at the rave- he looked so natural here, and she felt so dreadfully unnatural. but she'd lost her keys ages ago, and she only had one roommate. "hey," she waved her arms above her head to try and get their attention unsuccessfully. "hey!" she screamed a little louder, too much louder, as evidenced by all the strange heads turning in her direction. her cheeks felt hot. "uh, can i borrow your keys? i lost mine and i want to go home."

Link had spent the last week high, and his comedown was killer, he needed something quiet, something that gave him hope again. So he thought he would find somewhere that could do both. He knew New York was littered with museums, so he would pick one and go with it. His tan jacket devoured his body as he took the brisk stroll through the town. Entering the sickly sweet warmth he straightened up, realizing the hook shape his spine had been in the entire walk. He took his coat off and checked it. Thats when he saw her,  well her back, but he would be able to spot her anywhere. They had been tenuous and he didnt know exactly where they stood at the moment but he thought the worst that could happen from approaching her would be a brisk slap to the face, that may or may not break him from the haze he was currently in. Win Win. “you stalking me now?” he asked with a small smile and shake of his head, his lips close to her ear as he approached her as she stood in front of a painting.

CF (3:21 AM): where tf are u from again? near school?

CF (3:31 AM): kk go fuck urself then! blocking ur number

charlie had been pointedly ignoring nova since she made eye contact with him at the bar. somehow, they had not taken the hint to come give her attention. did she have to do everything herself? "so what, you don't even respond to my texts now?" she plopped down into the seat next to them without making eye contact, far more interested in her phone.
