〈ɪ'ᴍ ʜᴏᴘᴇʟᴇss.〉
Brie felt horrible for what had happened with Gionna and even though she’d apologized countless times--she knew people wouldn’t care. They still continued to talk trash about her and her wrestling ability. “Botch Bella” was her new nickname and she couldn’t deny that she was heartbroken over the whole ordeal. How could she be so reckless? So dangerous? She knew that people were talking about her, how could they not after last night?
Her suspicions were only further proven correct when she was in catering with Bryan and Birdie and heard some of the backstage crew whispering about her. “Did you see what she did last night?? I feel bad for her sister and for everyone who has to be involved in storylines with her.” “What a reckless and horrible wrestler she is. She might as well retire again and leave the wrestling to her husband or whatever he is to her these days.” She heard every word and it stung more than some hateful fan online because these were people she actually knew. People she thought she could trust and rely on, guess not.
Sighing, she smiled down at her precious and innocent daughter who was eating some fruit and then gave a small smile over to Bryan. “What’s wrong Brie? I can always sense when there’s something wrong...Is it about last night? Listen those people shouldn’t matter to you. If they wanna talk badly about you, let them because them doing that shows more about them than it does you.” She appreciated Bryan’s words but she didn’t believe them. Was she good enough to do this anymore? Maybe she really should just retire and hang up her boots again, clearly she wasn’t wanted here anymore and clearly she wasn’t good enough to do this anymore.
“I-I just need a moment...” Was all she could manage to get out before handing Birdie over to Bryan and rushing away to the outside of the arena. Mostly everyone was inside, so she figured this was a safe place for her to let her tears out. She couldn’t hold them in anymore, she had severely hurt a good friend and co-worker and then to top it off she had everyone around her questioning her ability and her as a human being. Her hands were in her face as the tears streamed down her cheeks, no doubt her head would be hurting later and her make-up was ruined but at the moment she could care-less.
“Brianna...?” She heard the familiar voice of her ex-husband approaching, which only made matters worse for her. She tried to wipe her eyes but her mascara was running and her make-up was all smudged at this point. “Brianna..Listen to me...I love you no matter what you do or what others might say or think. You made a bad mistake but that doesn’t mean you are a horrible person or a horrible wrestler...We just...We need to work on a new move set for you.” He gave her comforting words of encouragement as she felt more tears stream down her face, she tried to turn away but Bryan wouldn’t let her. He wrapped his muscular arms around the small female and held her tightly.
“You made a mistake...Accidents happen...Please don’t let this bad situation change your out-look on this. You wanted to come back with your sister, you wanted to be apart of wrestling again, you’ve worked hard....You’ve just got to keep working harder. Please....Don’t cry.” Bryan always had an ability to make things better for Brie, he had a way of calming her down and making her feel better.
“Let’s face it Bryan...I’m a joke. I’m Botch Bella remember? I suck and I just can’t do this anymore.” Brie hadn’t always been insecure but after being apart of the wrestling world--it sort of either makes or breaks you and in Brie’s case? It was slowly over time breaking her. She no longer had any self-worth or confidence in herself. People always liked Nikki more, people always thought Nikki was more talented, people always doubted Brie. Her own marriage had failed and in a way? She felt like the only thing she hadn’t failed at was being a mother.
“Brianna Monique Colace, don’t ever say that again. You’re not a joke, you’re not Botch Bella or whatever the hell those dumb internet trolls wanna call you. You don’t suck, you CAN do this...We just have to practice, we just have to push ourselves harder and you can prove everybody wrong.” Bryan wiped away her tears and held her against his chest. He wished he could take away her pain but he wasn’t sure if he could anymore.
“I....I just really think this was a mistake. I just wanna go home with my daughter and forget this ever happened. Let’s face it Bryan--Drew and Leah and Dori and all of those other people are right..I’m not cut out for this anymore.”
“Oh that’s great Brianna, so you have some mean co-workers and you’re just gonna give up?! What would have happened if you gave up 10 years ago, huh?? What would have happened?! Don’t you give up now, don’t even think about it. What do you think Birdie would think if you just gave up? She’d be disappointed, Nicole would be disappointed, your mom would be disappointed, I’d be disappointed.” For some reason Bryan saying he’d be disappointed, it really effected Brie. She didn’t like the others being disappointed but Bryan and Birdie? They were her rock and she couldn’t imagine disappointing them.
“F-Fine...I won’t give up...Because of you and Birdie.” She sighed and wiped her tears away once more, wrapping her arms around Bryan tightly as a sign of appreciation. She was showing him how much she appreciated him because her mouth couldn’t find the words at the moment. “Thank you Bryan..Just for everything. I love you so much.” She smiled slightly and hugged him tighter. “You don’t ever have to thank me Brianna, I love you too.”
Tasha's Summer 2025 Gala outfit (attending with @bryanxlawrence)
They chose the entire ocean as the aspect, complimentary colors. Tasha's lighter hue to Bryan's darker one. Accesorizing, Tasha went with the idea of the actual waves of the ocean. A necklace and matching earring set depicting the waves, along with a ring on her index finger. Closing out the outfit are silver heels to compliment the silver of her ring.
