          THE NIGHT’S BARELY KICKED OFF and as though someone has walked beneath a ladder or said the name macbeth in vain, bad luck in the most superstitious of ways has sprung onto club bacchae without prior warning. what with heels breaking before and, horrifyingly enough, while onstage, body glitter spilling into a dancer’s handbag, and clothing sets ripping at the seams, one can say these first slew of performances haven’t been a walk in the park, no shit. which is why it’s unfortunate when, just from a curious glance avi shoots across the room, it looks like not even charming morgan can avoid the domino effect that’s been raining on this parade — avi’s reaction time clocking in quick given they snatch a spindle of thread and take action despite them being the aforementioned dancer who now has body glitter absolutely everywhere.  ❛ okay, charming, honey —if you can like, not breathe for thirty seconds, that’d be fucking fantastic, ❜  they mutter with a pin-needle tucked between pursed lips, swooping into her peripheral just before her bra gives out. avi tugs at the material, not too taut, not too loose. giving charming just enough wiggle room as avi gets to work.
