LOCATION: The Train (The Evening of the Announcement)
//
The point of leaving the food car in the first place was to find Cinna, but they made pit stops along the way. It was the conversation with Griffin that simultaneously caught her off guard and went exactly as she had expected. He is hiding something or, rather, he knows more than he’s leading on.
She had heard whispers of the Rebellion, of course, but always boiled them down to sweet nothings. Wren has questions, Fava does too, which is why they go unanswered. There is nothing the Victor can say to ease either mind.
That’s what Cinna is for.
A friend and confidant, Fava trusts Cinna openly. They are the first person that she truly felt connected to when she entered the Capitol. When the sisters find them, there is a flood of questions on her tongue, but she miraculously manages to remain calm. There is an edge in her voice. “What’s happening?” Beside her, Wren signs the same question asked to Griffin: are you okay?
