She leans on one of the counters at Mel’s, placing her milkshake next to her, watching Crawford as he finishes last minute things before heading out. “Okay, since your shift is over, I’m going to be bothering you. I told you I would and I stick to my promises,” she jokes lightly before her eyes widen slightly. She realizes she might be coming off a bit too demanding. “Unless you have somewhere else to be! Then never mind!”

Gracia has no idea whether to let out a sigh of relief that Crawford is alive, or to cry at how tired and in pain he looked. How did a fun Halloween event turn so catastrophic and deadly? Was it all their faults for throwing a party and letting their guard down like that? Would the town ever move from this even though the murderer was caught and things were seemingly safe again? Gracia didn’t think so. People died. People lost loved ones, friends. People got hurt and attacked, got close to death. How do you move on from that? “Hey, Crawford. I hope this isn’t a bad time to pass by...” She gives him a small smile, though there’s pain in her eyes. “I wanted to check up on you. How are you feeling? Do you need me to sneak in anything from the outside?”
