Though it was far from uncommon for Hyo to be watching someone from afar, finding them doing something that piqued her interest was even rarer, and she couldn’t help but rub at her eyes to ensure her vision was pristine. The day hadn’t started this exciting, however, as for the last couple of hours since she began her… observation, Hyo had been bored out of her mind. She’d watched him go from doing the most mundane tasks of getting a coffee, to grocery shopping, and then spending time at the library. Hyo hadn’t been sure just how much longer she could take before she’d give up on him and walk away. At its simplest form, her plan was to figure out what was happening within this city; who it was that she needed to follow in order to get some answers, and ensuring she went unnoticed through the entirety of her plan.
Breaking promises was something she knew well how to do, even if the promise had just been to herself, so it didn’t come as a surprise when she first saw Eric days prior, that she’d follow and figure out who he was. What he was if it ever came to that. There wasn’t much she knew about the male besides his name and his involvement with the very people out to get her. It may have been a bit premature to assume he too was a vampire, and after the day she’s witnessed, she definitely had her doubts. It wasn’t until she noticed him cradling a particular group of books, some she hadn't seen him pick, that her curiosity took over. What are you up to Eric, huh? What do you know?
Another couple of minutes lead to Hyorin’s most impulsive and rushed decision of that day. Reaching for the first set of books she came across and stacking them on her arm, she closed the distance between them, forcing herself to slip at just the right moment so that her books fell over his while she knocked onto him. “ Shit. I’m such a klutz! ” With her voice dipped to a whine, she made a face in his direction then began to gather her stuff. “ Sorry. Are you alright? ” As close as she was now, she could see the muscles hidden beneath his clothing. “ Wow. You’re ripped! ” she exclaimed, breaking character and forgetting all about her books as she reached over to touch his arms. “ Could fold me in two, I bet. Do you work out or something? ”
Donnie had been dragged here and dressed up by April. He was more than content to stay home but his brothers wanted to come and he was really a sucker for his family. So here he was drinking in the corner and trying to quietly observe the room for any threats and keep an eye on his brothers. His concentration was disturbed by someone standing very close to him. He’d been leaning on the bar away from the crowd but this guy had come stand right next to him anyway. “Uh do you have to be so close?”

STARTER FOR ERIC. ( @stonerisms )
– “ARE THEY SERIOUSLY PLAYING UNCHAINED MELODY AGAIN?” she leaned over, voice low. “ we have got to do something about this dj. ” she figures that in all of woodstock, there probably weren’t a lot of options in terms of sound mixing. well, there were the high volume employees, but they were pretty busy tearing up the dance floor. “ unless you’re too busy stalking a certain someone. ”

“Wes is going to lose his shit at the mess,” is the first thing Chase says when he walks into Eric and Wes’s apartment, looking around at how messy it is, which he knows is his best friend’s fault. It doesn’t bother Chase, not when his own brother Jacob is messy, too. He lets himself fall back onto the sofa and rests back, rubbing his face. The pair haven’t really had the chance to discuss what went down at the party, and that’s one of the reasons Chase stopped by now. Neither of them had anticipated for things to escalate that much after deciding that a distraction would be the best course of action. He’s unsure where to go from here, but granted, he hasn’t really thought about it in depth, opting to distract himself with anything. “Do you have beer?” That is what he needs first.

after working all night, the only thing wes wants to do is sleep. still used to his usual ten o’clock bedtime, it’s a miracle his eyes are still open now that it’s past midnight. before he’s even near the front door, he knows the muffled yet obnoxious sounds echoing through the hallway belong to his roommate. so much for sleep. upon opening the door, he shakes his head when he's met with a plethora of empty beer bottles. it’s only been a couple of months since moving in with eric, but he’s already become accustomed to picking up after the other, making sure their apartment was even the slightest bit presentable. it’s hard to mind the task much when the alternative is living with his brothers. at least here, wes feels useful, like he’s not completely out of place or taking up too much space. “there’s a trash can for a reason, eric,” he scolds while picking up the bottles himself and throwing them away. “and didn’t i tell you to put the milk away this morning?”
STARTER FOR ERIC. ( @stonerisms )
– “HERE,” BLAIR PASSES ERIC A LIT JOINT, smoking rising into the air. “ you actually look like you could use this more than me for a change, ” she says, noting that the dark circles under his eyes are more pronounced than hers. she’s not really stressed about the court date or the impending threat from james. if things go south, she’s started squirreling money under her mattress again for a one way ticket across state lines. she’s still anxious about actually doing that, but the tucked-away money is starting to feel like a comfort blanket all the same.
it’s the perfect afternoon to blow off work – she’s gonna be using the ‘my friend got stabbed’ excuse for a hot minute – when she finds eric out by the skate park. “ shit’s totally fucked, huh ? ” she offers, “ and i didn’t even end up with any cool battle scars. ”

this isn’t exactly sloane’s old stomping ground, but sometimes it’s just about the familiar faces. any other time, that would’ve been something of a relief; today, it’s just one more thing to add to her ever growing unease. more capable hands would spend this time trying to make sure her coworkers didn’t find themselves making a bed they couldn’t lie in— but she doesn’t have the capacity for that kind of juggling. she shakes herself out of her own head and starts for one of the tables. “eric.” she nearly brushed right past him. “you alright?”
