teddy bear — does your muse have any treasured possessions? what makes it so special?
"where I spent the first seven years of my life, individual possessions weren't really a thing so I never had something that was just mine. when my future stepdad helped us get out of that situation, he had brought a bunch of supplies for us to be more comfortable during the transition. one of those things was this big blanket that was tie-dyed and had the gang from scooby doo on it. and that was the first item that was completely mine. I adore that blanket (no matter that it was ken's from his childhood and I would later learn it was brought in a whirlwind of packing rather than a thought-out gift). it's basically my version of a baby blanket."
"I also have a box of stuff from when I was dating harris: polaroids from the era I thought that was the pinnacle of keepsakes, ticket stubs, coffee straws from cafe's we went to, CDs burned with the most sappy of love songs I thought were deep, etc. I've thought about getting rid of it but I don't know if I ever could bring myself to."
