siren’s call // ft. jiwoo
keep an eye out // @vcjiwoo
he’d been out of the hospital for a while now, caught in the motions of healing on his own, without the aid of medics and the like running their hands over him. the notion had been exhausting for the most part, trapped to a hospital bed with little to pass the time than the few visitors he had. but, this wasn’t any better. he couldn’t do his job without feeling the familiar jolts of pain echo through his bones, was often caught unawares due to the amount of pain killers he’d swallow in a day. everything was exhausting.
though, in spite of that, or perhaps because of it, he’d made a point of visiting as many members of ivory lotus as he could manage since escaping the confines of medical practice. some of them had neglected to see him, or perhaps they didn’t have the time to spare him as much--it mattered little to him, if only to see if the majority of them were doing okay since the initial ambush.
which lead him to attempting to find the other siren in the gang. yoonoh had always felt a draw towards the younger, almost fatherly in instinct. perhaps it was the age gap between the two, or that the two were of the same species. it could be down to a number of things, but jiwoo was more often than not, on the top of his list of worries and concerns, even through the ambush that had rendered him unable to move--his first thought was how the other was holding up, if she had been brought down, too.
he’d managed to track her down to the ivory lotus headquarters, a safe spot for the masses under that gang. weak smile and soft eyes, he’d happened to avoid the other members that could perhaps spare a glance his way, and instead focused his attention on the young girl. “you’re a hard little thing to hunt down, you know. almost had me breaking my back looking for you.”
