It wasn't the very next day from when he'd run into Leyla at Firefly Brewery, quite literally, as he'd mentioned had been his plan, but it was the day after that. Taner made his way into the catchall coffee shop and looked around, not because he was curious about the store or wanted to check it out, he was trying to spot the mother of his child. There was a trickle of fear that spooked down his spine at the chance he could run into his daughter, Billie, here for the very first time. As much as he wanted to meet her and would give anything for that chance, Taner was trying to do things as properly and respectfully with Leyla as possible. When he finally did spot his ex-girlfriend and the only person he'd ever given his heart to he sighed. "Hey," Taner greeted to get Leyla's attention, "do you think we could talk now? At least a bit?"
