old habits || ft. minki

for the most part, gyujin had put his past behind him. had become fixated with a new life, to the extent of forgetting questionable acts and wrong doings. not out of spite, but simply because it didn’t suit him anymore. wouldn’t suit him from here on out. of course, there were some habits that were hard to abandon, most of which being his insatiable need to control people, manipulate them to his own ends and abandon once he’d gotten what he wanted. his first fledgling had been victim to this, though he hadn’t expected to see him long after that incident had come to pass. perhaps it wasn’t wise to wander close to turf that wasn’t of his own. perhaps it was wise to pay attention to whom was the leader of the gang to which he was trespassing. though call him curious, with the ambushes and kidnappings that had been happening as of late, it was hard not to be curious.
he had a suspicion he was being watched. didn’t exactly hide who he was, what gang he was in charge of. and for that, he could suspect his presence had caused alarm. had caused some of the night bloods to watch, to pose their threats and call whomever was posing as their higher ups.
for that, he wasn’t surprised he’d stumbled upon their leader, after wandering much too close to the hotels, and, more specifically, ketsueki. it wasn’t too hard to recognise the younger, though. as his own smug grin spoilt the almost innocent undertones his features would come to offer. “long time no see, baby. i was half wanting to see you again after all this time.”
