She used to love weddings, everything about love being in the air and getting to share that with those you kept close to your heart, it was special. But, maybe it was the break off of her engagement or how she was just seemingly unlucky in love, she wasn’t exactly having the best time tonight. Riff agreed to come with her, luckily, and he always seemed to up her spitit. As a slow song began to play, she watched all the couples flood the dance floor, making her glance down at the drink in her hand with a small frown. It was only a tap to her shoulder, Riff standing there with an outstretched hand, that a small smile tugging on the corner of her brims. Slowly she stood up, taking his hand before laughing as he twirled her onto the floor, and she felt alright for this moment. Leaning her head to his chest, she just swayed, thankful to have run into Riff that one day in the park. Sure, they had barely anything in common, but she liked that. She liked being able to talk about new things, to just let loose and have fun, and she felt her smile widen as he pressed a kiss to her forehead as if to assure her he was right here. “You’re a good guy, Riff.” Elle said softly, glancing up at him with a nod, still swaying to the music lightly playing around them.
