If he was being honest, PJ avoided Ruby for most of the summer because he knew what she was going to bring up. More like who she was going to bring up. Zipping up his suitcase, he looked up at her, a sad smile on his face. “Or are you here to do both?”

“Okay no lie? I’m extremely nervous right now.” A summer internship with the FBI for the entire summer, she was buzzing with the utmost excitement. Falling onto her friend’s bed, she held her cheeks in both of her hands. “This is gonna be my first internship without you there.”

“This is literally a dream come true!” She was bouncing on the balls of her feet, clapping rapidly in excitement. Who would’ve thought that she would become so lucky to have two of her closest friends as her roommates! Sunshine Martin was the happiest girl in the entire world. “Whoever chose the roommates for this year deserve nothing but happiness for the rest of their lives.”
