– SHE HAD BEEN MAKING AN EFFORT TO BE SKYLAR’S FRIEND, but she supposes the ONLY plus side to being on outs with julian is that she doesn’t have to relentlessly try now. in fact, she’ll never win skylar over now, she’s just resigned to it ! “ hi ! ” she chirps anyways when skylar opens her door, because at least she can find it in herself to be civil, “ i was just dropping some things off for summer, i organized all my german notes and thought they could be useful. could you give them to her ? ”

atlas sipped his drink and glanced up at the stage in front of him. the emerald club was without a doubt his favourite place to relax on his days off and he enjoyed being a regular. he’d already been there for a couple of hours when from the corner of his eye he spotted a familiar figure and waved her over. “skylar, come here a second would you? i’ve been looking for you all night.” atlas could never be sure if skylar actually didn’t mind him or if she just had to put up with him because she was working. either way, it didn’t matter that much to him.

– “DON’T GO THAT WAY,” claire warns, holding out her hand to stop skylar before she can head down the corridor that passes the hook-up hallway. “ TRUST ME, you’re going to be much better off if you take the long way, ” claire warns, raising her voice slightly over the sound of someone moaning in the distance. she wrinkles her nose appropriately, “ see what i mean ? ”
