Kenzie turned the book over in her hands, glancing over the back cover. "I feel like some of these books need to be wrapped in some kind of protection--" She could have kicked herself at the completely unintended inuendo. "You know, like the sealed sections of the magazines when we were teens?" Was the fellow dance teacher too young to understand that reference? Kenzie hoped not. But the absolute 'spice' that was in these books was astounding, and yet they were right there on the shelf.

"you better promise not to laugh when I totally eat it." zach playfully warned his friend as he helped amelia lace up her roller skates. a high pitched laugh escaped aliana's lips as she stood near their locker, rolling back and forth on her wheels. "you too, nugget!"
with ingrid off with her own group of friends (and being chronically sixteen these days, according to zach), he was thankful to have sterling here as another set of hands to help with the three younger ones. though zeke didn't need much watching, being twelve and quite a quiet kid. it was the energetic, full of personality twins that left him gasping for breath at the end of the day. but thankfully, they both loved sterling and adored sunny.
