Silliness aside, though: corru dot observer is a browser game about exploring an alien biocomputer that's been in the ocean for a few decades, and the memories it contains! As you wander through these memories, you learn the reasons that aliens suddenly and mysteriously withdrew from humanity a few decades before the game takes place (and it is no coincidence that the biocomputer you've got has been abandoned for that same amount of time)!
It's primarily a point-and-click game, with turn-based RPG (later tactical turn-based RPG) segments that can be completely skipped. The worldbuilding is fantastic, and it's still being developed! So mysteries are still unraveling!
I, the submitter, am Akizet- The... Secondary? Sort of? Protagonist! It is my memories that are being explored, so many portions of the game are technically both from my point of view, and that of the human player character.
Also, my other personal stake in the matter: there are so few other obesk on Tumblr, and it is my dearest hope that this allows more to discover their nature. May Velzie smile upon us, and allow us to gather on this bright world once more!

I FORGOT TO INCLUDE THIS IN THE CORRUOBSERVER PITCH BUT: it can! very much be eye-strainy for some people. it is done in a heavily dithered style, and near-exclusively in black, white, and very bright magenta and cyan. much as i love this game, i do not want it to cause any issues for anyone !

mod recommends headphones! the audio environment presented by corru.observer is incredibly neat... alien, imposing, but a little chill nonetheless. and very clicky and hummy!
