TASK 01 : WELCOME SUMMER’S GHOSTS
summer song: bad medicine by bon jovi
on a warm summer’s day you can only truly hear the sounds of jimmy hendrix on vinyl that falls in harmony with the buzzing of sage kahn’s tattoo gun .. they spend almost every single day in that tattoo shop, even when june creeps into the holiday weekend and flash sales aren’t enough to gather interest.
so sage heads to new york for a few weekends.. they reconnect with some of their dads old friends... it’s a questionable decision.. but it quells their heart long enough to pick up a guitar again.. music becomes life again.. it mixes into her daily routine, somewhere after a morning wake & bake and well before her sunset meditation sessions. sage is beginning to find inner peace again .. even when their weekend to the city run slim ..
sage’s nights begin to involve more of venice wright’s front porch .. they had to invest in a few tiki torches at home depot as july dragged on.. sometimes they talk for hours on hours, diving into conspiracy theories.. sharing aesthetics.. even singing along to their old beat up guitar. but there are also nights where they find their backs on the grass, eyes shifted towards the stars with constellations dancing in the sky. those night? yeah those are sage’s favorite.
august brought with a new wave of firsts.. first drunken self-tattoo moment.. most of sage’s right hand is now filled with sporadic patchwork ideas .. they borrow a skateboard with from scout darling and start frequenting the abandoned parks in hopes they’ve got some untapped potential... they don’t at first .. and neither does daphne abernathy .. in all reality sage’s coordination is shit.. but it’s fun and they don’t allow a few bruised bones to stop them.
the fall months are welcomed and sage is already in the works of sprucing the place up.. though at first glance you’d think it was halloween town and jack skellington was their boss..
