She hummed in agreement. “Definitely,” said Carina, eyes wondering over the familiar, although well-decorated, sites of the Great Hall. “I recall some Gryffindor thinking it was a good idea to try and start a food fight back in fifth year. They threw a pie and hit McGonagall straight in the face.” She giggled at the memory of the notoriously tightly-wound woman’s expression-- it had been positively murderous. Carina craned her head to look at the person who stood beside her. She smiled wistfully. “I never realized just how much I missed it. Everything’s changed so much since we left.” The only problem was she wasn’t sure if it were for better or worse.
