"Man, its been a while.." Adonis began, taking Kareem into a handshake hug before pulling away, ending it with a dap. "I didn't think you'll show up or hell probably pretend yeen know it was me from the text message. Though, I can see why you told me to come here - its definitely not Chicago." his dark, almost cold like eyes darted around the place - noticing how lively .. colorful everyone and everything was here despite the dense fog.

Orisa had texted Kareem to meet her at Rosie's Diner before they did their little exploring. It was something of a welcome distraction and good company - just simply enjoy the everyday moments. Slowly the younger witch was teaching her that. This was only a small token of appreciation she could offer him that seemed genuine enough. "A table for two" she told the attending waiter and followed them to one of the empty booths. Taking a seat she pulled out her phone to open up her messages - scrolling to find the one that said 'family' she would send them a message like normal, just to check up on them while she waited.

Out of the all the days of the week, thursdays have become one of favorite ones. Today she get to eat good food and enjoy the company of her lovely Aeri. The older woman couldn't tell you how exactly they became some close but all she knew was that it felt like she known this woman forever. As she made her way to the front of her house, there was a little pep in her step. Orisa had so much to tell Aeri - from the new couples who litter her shop, to the dramas of the stay at home mothers that was forced to come her shop with their kids. Once she made it to the front door she took a deep breath, opening up the door her to greet her friend with a welcoming hug. "Its good to see you darling."
