❛   please ,i can’t take all the credit you know .  i wouldn’t be able to finish if you didn’t keep the little star busy .  ❜   there’s a tone of    pride    within her voice as the enchantress’ eyes linger at the sight before her .  paint covered overalls , small streaks along her exposed arms  --- hair a mess .  but after a few hours , it was done .  she had long wanted to repaint the living room walls , something about needing a change was what set her in motion .  of course , arcturus had helped her out  ;  her husband had    volunteered    himself to take the role of princess when their three year old daughter had demanded the attention from one of their parents .  it had helped her stay focused as she had heard the laughter coming from leia’s room and    animated    chatter .   ❛   what do you think though ?  ❜  she questioned , taking a step back as the now dry paint brush hangs in her hand ; body pressed against her husband’s side as she hums softly . eyes admiring the new soft nude colors of the wall that had once been a soft green .  earthly warm tone that wrapped the house in comfort . 

❛   i kind of want to repaint the other rooms too , maybe add another room to the house .    ❜  she had been thinking lately of expanding their home  --- built a little work office beside his own when going to the shop was not in the picture for ianthina .  something she had been thinking about lately as there was no doubt that she enjoyed doing little things around the house . especially now that leia was a little bigger , walking around and showing signs of both her birthrights .   ❛  i know , i’ve been doing a lot of changes , but i feel like a little bit of changes will be nice , you know , babe ?   ❜

        aches greets her body ; the feeling of despair and worry that had     overwhelmed     her all day   -----    v a n i s h e d   .    gone the moment she walked through the front door of their   (  small    )    home .  and the magic ?  its warm ;  ever loving  .  essence that had been built by the three people that had made the little cottage their home .   after the long day she had ,  finally getting back on her feet after two months of recovery .   the mother and lover wants nothing but to be in around her    family .

so ; it’s a smile .  ever gentle at the sight that greets her when she enters after letting her request be known  .  heavy burden she felt on her shoulders lift  ---   keeping brown gaze on her star as the picture of him with their daughter engraves within her heart .    a little piece of happiness , cooing quietly as her lover sets their creation crafted from magic and love down on her rocker .  just a quiet stir and back their daughter went as ian walks closer to the living room .   items in her arms dropped on the couch and before she knows it .  

his hands have hers .  

   ❛  yes.    ❜   her answer is simple as she tip toes up to place a soft kiss upon her star’s lips .  chaste and brief but filled with the longing she had since she’s been gone.  this was only the first day of her getting back to work and it was already making her regret leaving the side of him and their child .     ❛   i don’t want to wake her up just yet and i want to know what you two did today .  ❜   barely above a whisper , she lets him know that she desires his distraction as she  holds onto his hand tightly .   with silence from her ,  she carefully leads him to their backyard.

to their little haven that was created during her months of pregnancy .  evergreen greets them as ian’s body finally relaxes in the presence of nature .  the sun hovering over their   enclosed      garden still makes her feel warmth as her hold in his doesn’t leave .  

   ❛  can i just stay home tomorrow ?    ❜  words come out in a low form of a    plead    .  did she leave too soon ?  in all honesty ,  ian didn’t want to leave their home anymore .  it had been like that since they moved in together and the longing had increased a tenfold after the birth of their daughter.      ❛  i was antsy all day being away from you two .  ❜
