throughout the performances, there’s really only about twenty minutes at a time that silas has to himself. the entire day he’s been fulfilling proper sunbae and mc duties, consisting of checking in on the idols next in the line up, encouraging them to let them know that he’s rooting for their performance, casually conversing with them until he’s to go introduce them as the next performer alongside sangwoo, et cetera. after about the millionth time of doing that, he’s exhausted and is tempted to just ask for a moment to himself before heading to the last performer’s room.
it just so happens to be siren, which means he’ll have to see her. he supresses a roll of his eyes.
eventually, he makes his way towards the room down a hall he was gestured carelessly towards by one of the staff not really paying attention to silas, instead has his eyes on the stage where silver is currently performing ‘hot pink’. he doesn’t blame the guy. too busy toying with his tie to make sure it’s straight, he doesn’t pay much attention to his surroundings until he realizes that the lights overhead begin flickering. brows furrow as he glances up, and then in each direction of the hall, where he sees bora lingering towards where he just came from.
“oh, great. the lights are probably flickering because a witch is in the vicinity,” he murmurs the words to himself, but the empty hall echoes them back to him and he’s sure that bora herself caught some of his spoken thought.
“is this where you place a hex on me because it’s the day of the dead, or am i going to have to find out about your powers another way?” then he hears a noise coming from around the corner at the end of the hall. glancing back towards bora, he quirks a brow in her direction. “aren’t you coming?”
only, silas isn’t aware that siren’s dressing room isn’t just around the corner like he was lead to believe.
