Duke wasn’t dumb, and for the sake of this narration, he had gotten a message from Dirk directly saying that he would be busy for a brief time to focus on a strife. It’s been hours and Duke cannot help but worry for his only recently made friend.
It’s not like he reminds him of anyone.
With the help of a hacker friend, Duke manages to pull Dirks’ coordinates from his GPS device, quickly pulling on a white oversized hoodie and his hightops before punching the numbers into his transportilizer and heading off there.
He immediately knew something was off.
“Yo, dude, my man, Dirk, where you at, bro?”
You didn’t like your voice right now but you continued to call out as you started to search for him, unsure what exactly you were trying to find other than just him. When you see a body laying on the ground your stomach drops and your voice falters, though you rush over and kneel next to him, taking in the sight of blood before you try to stand up again and run away.
No, no! He needs help, get over yourself, Duke.
You swallow and push your thoughts away. “Dirk, are you okay? You wish me dude? Let’s get you inside I’ll call 911.”
