The music for the reception was pumping around her, and yet Laura couldn’t seem to get in on the fun - at least not properly anyways. The brunette had been feeling off all day, and she hadn’t slept well the night before thanks to not being in a bed she was familiar with. So, she moved tom the exciting festivities to get some air that wasn’t polluted by way of perfume. Laura let out a sigh, and turned to see a tall male and offered him a small smile. “You need a break from everyone too?”
VALENCIA: had been excited to see Amarion regardless of what was going on, but after she'd talked to Mari earlier, seeing him felt more like a need, instead of a want. She'd gone to his house, and picked up one of his cars like he'd asked, before going to the airport to pick him up. She'd spent a lot of the day crying in private, not wanting Marina to see her upset, but now she wished she could have been stronger, because she knew her eyes were red and puffy, and that wasn't how she wanted Amarion to see her. Stepping out of the car, she leaned against the door, spinning the key around on her finger as she waited to see him, trying to concentrate on her excitement, and forget her sadness.
Hunter was intrigued by Sebastian, that much was clear. He was going to be doing things he had never done with another guy before and while it wasn’t sexual, it sure had a sexual context. Especially with Sebastian getting aroused by the activities. Looking back at it, Hunter didn’t understand why he wanted to do it so much. Well, he understood, but he didn’t get why he let himself go so far. His interest in guys was getting harder to suppress and he wasn’t exactly making it himself easy. It was definitely going to be challenging to be with Sebastian for so long and doing something Hunter was into as well. He trusted himself not to get aroused before so he told himself that he could do that now as well.
To make it a little easier on himself, he had asked the other to come to his room. That way things felt more comfortable and he was reminded of who he was. A straight Dominant student. With a sigh, Hunter let himself fall onto the couch. He was nervous but of course he couldn’t show that. He had to show as little emotions as he could. Sebastian seemed to already have his thoughts on Hunter’s sexuality so he couldn’t exactly be risky. He had to play it safe. He was wearing loose jeans and a black v-neck shirt. Nothing too sexy. All Hunter could hope for now was that Sebastian wouldn’t try to seduce him too much. If he did, he would have to react quick and annoyed to keep up his shield.
NOTES: Midge realizes she's confusing Danny, they have a little talk about feelings.
Midge Wilde
The day before had been a lot for Midge, but she was surprised by the way wanted to be spending her time with Danny while here. Yet, since earlier Danny had seemed…off. She wanted to give him space but an entire night felt like more than enough. She made her way over to him, a cup of coffee in each hand, “I’m not sure how you take it,” she offered, holding one mug out to him as she sat down, “But I figure shitty coffee is shitty coffee whether it has cream and sugar or not.”
Danny SylvesterDanny was just so confused. He and Midge had a good relationship so far, okay yeah they'd only been on one date but they'd hit it off and he was keen for them to start up some sort of regular hook up thing. And he thought she felt the same. But yesterday when he was trying to make her feel better, she just seemed so closed off and pushed him away. So now he wasn't sure what was going on. He saw Midge approach him and he sighed, but took the coffee anyway. "Thanks." And he took a little sip. "Good sleep?"
Midge Wilde“I mean, I slept in a sleeping bag on the floor of a dive bar,” she said letting out a small trying to lighten the mood. “So yeah, it was great. What about you!” She had tried not to take seeing him sigh personally, but it was hard to get out of her own head. Midge sat silently for a minute, sipping her coffee before finally getting the nerve to ask, “Did I piss you off or something?”
Danny Sylvester"Oh first time?" He joked back, but his smile was small. Then he shook his head. "I gave up on sleep the first night honestly." They sat there in an awkward silence, drinking their coffees before she spoke up again. "No." Danny replied, a little shrug. "You haven't pissed me off."
Midge Wilde“I think so!” She teased back, but it seemed to fall flat. “I’m sure you’ll sleep better once you’re back in your own bed.” Midge really didn’t know what to think, or to say. She felt incredibly self conscious wondering if she’d somehow managed to chase him off, when truly all she’d wanted was to keep him interested. “Okay.” She nodded, staring into her coffee, “I guess, I can leave you alone if you want? You don’t really seem like you’re in the mood for me,” she said, fighting like hell to keep the sadness out of her voice but it was there despite her best efforts.
Danny SylvesterHe just nodded along, staring down at the coffee just laying in his mug, a bitter taste in his mouth from it. When Midge said she was going to leave, he whipped his head around to look at her, and seeing her sad expression he laid his hand on her arm. "No wait, I'm sorry." And Danny twisted his body around to look at her better. "I just... Why have you been pushing me away? I'm just trying to help."
Midge WildeShe didn’t know why she felt so relieved that Danny wanted her to stay there, feeling his hand on her arm created goosebumps. Midge tilted her head at his question, trying to understand what he meant, and letting out a sigh at the realization. “I’m not trying to push you away, I’m…” she trailed off, wanting to find the right words, “You are helping,” she finally said, bringing her own hand to rest on top of his, “It’s just that we just met before all of this and I don’t know what it is but I feel like I just want to tell you every stupid thought that comes into my head, and I want to fuck you all the time.” Midge bit her lip, “I feel like if I do both of those things I’m going to chase you away, and I’m just going to be the weird girl that kept you entertained during lockdown.” She was never really this vulnerable, not with anyone, and half expected Danny to get up and walk away laughing. “I don’t want to just never hear from you again, you talk about hanging out and watching movies, and wearing matching costumes and I don’t want to ruin that.”
Danny SylvesterDanny wasn't the best with feelings, or girls with feelings, but he wanted to understand what was wrong with Midge and how he could help. So he was glad when she started to talk to him. When she talked about sleeping with him, he smirked, she was still interested. "You're not going to chase me away Midge. I know we're in a shitty situation right now, but once things are back to normal I'm not planning on ditching you." Danny's smile was soft now and he shifted a little closer. "I like you, you're cool. Not many girls are like you. So I thought we could be friends and do all that shit and fuck all the time as well." And he dipped his head a little. "I thought maybe I'd scared you off or something."
Midge WildeMidge nodded at his reassurance, hoping he meant what he was saying, or that he wouldn’t change his mind when this was over. When he dipped his head, she felt a wave of guilt, and couldn’t stop herself from leaning forward to press a kiss to the top of his head, “I’m sorry I made you feel that way.” She said, her voice barely a whisper. “For what it’s worth, you don’t scare me at all. It’s just easy to get naked, you know? But talking about something real isn’t, not for me.”
Danny SylvesterThe kiss made him smile and he looked back up at her. "It's okay, I'm just not used to this." He admitted. "I'm not exactly a great guy and people don't really like me so it's hard for me to do stuff like this." Danny's smile turned into a grin now. "Yeah I get that. I'd rather get naked than talk about feelings and shit. But we're kind of limited here." And he reached up and brushed some hair behind her ear. "It is killing me to not be able to get naked with you though."
Midge WildeMidge shook her head at his words, “You seem pretty great to me,” she said softly, “The not great guys don’t usually follow you to make sure you’re okay, or tell you that there’s more to you than sex, or worry about why you’re pushing them away.” Midge leaned her head into his hand when he touched her, “Well, we could try to find somewhere private, or we just keep letting this thing build, imagine all the anticipation.”
Danny SylvesterHe just shrugged, he wasn't going to get into all the bad stuff right now, that could wait for another time. "I just care about you, that's all. Even though we've only just met and been on one date." Danny smiled and stroked her cheek gently. "Hey that's up to you, I'm not going to force you to do anything you don't want to do." Then he moved his hand away and his lips replaced it, brushing a soft kiss to her cheek.
Midge WildeMidge smiled, a blush growing on her cheeks when he said he cared about her, “Well, ditto.” When he kissed her cheek she turned her head to catch his lips with her own, taking in the bitter taste of the coffee on them. “I want to,” she whispered, pulling away just enough that her forehead was resting against his, “I don’t want to wait, I want you, I just might need you to keep a hand over my mouth so I don’t end up screaming.”
Danny SylvesterAs she turned to meet him in a kiss, he eagerly kissed her back. The grin on his face when the pulled away was big, and he slowly moved his hand to rest on her thigh. "Good. Because I don't want to wait either." And Danny kissed her again. "I'd love to hear you scream, but I know the others wouldn't." He thought to himself for a moment and looked around. "The perk of working here is I know where all the keys are. Want to do it in one of the VIP rooms?"
Midge Wilde"I have the feeling you'll get to hear it plenty of times in the future." She smiled, nodding at his question. "You go get the keys, I'll go grab us a bottle of something and we can meet there in 5 minutes?"
Danny SylvesterHe went back in for one more kiss, the taste of her lips already addicting to him, and he nodded. "Sounds perfect. I'll see you there."

NOTES ➝ Immy plans a first date for her and Zach, they discuss some deep feelings, and some fluff.
Immy CortesNervous didn't even begin to cover what Immy was feeling as she dropped Malea off with Haley for the night, she was verging on panic. It was silly, really, but she couldn't help it, she wanted this night to go well, she wanted every night with Zach to go well, and if this one went poorly, she worried there wouldn't be any more to come. Normally, one person picks another up for a date, but because she had to drop Malea off, and wanted to make sure everything was set up to her standards she asked Zach to meet her at her restaurant.
Immy was upstairs on the rooftop patio, the restaurant closed on Wednesday nights to give the staff a night off, meant the place was quiet and private and hopefully not too romantic that she'd run them off, which is why she opted not to put candles on the table, and instead using the bars low lighting. The whole rooftop was cleared, with the exception of their table, and the place was empty with the exception of a few staff who she was paying double time for volunteering to work on their day off.
zach wildeZach didn't know what to expect tonight. He'd been nervous, pacing back and forth in his apartment only just an hour before. The conversation they'd had about taking things slow made complete sense, and Zach was glad to know that they were on the same page. But now, Immy was figuring out if she still felt the same way about Zach now, and not just teenager Zach.
When they finally arrived on the rooftop patio, Zach was at a loss for words. One, because of the set up. And two, because Immy was the most beautiful woman they'd ever seen in their life, they were sure of it. They walked up to her, not being able to hold themselves back from just completely checking them out. Zach wrapped his arms around Immy, pulling her close. "Wow.." He pressed a kiss against her cheek before pulling away. They took her hand in their own, eyes locking onto Immy's. "You're absolutely breathtaking, Immy."
Immy CortesHer heart raced when she saw them step onto the patio and finally felt a bit of calm for the first time all night when Zach wrapped their arms around her. She was certain the way her whole body reacted to them couldn’t just be old feelings resurfacing. A deep blush rose on her cheeks when she heard their words, and she couldn’t stop herself from tugging on their hand to pull him in for a real kiss this time.
“Sorry, I’ve been thinking about kissing you since the last time we kissed, I didn’t think I could wait any longer.” Immy grinned, and then motioned to the table, “we should eat, there’s a surprise later and I want to make sure we’ve finished eating and have everything cleared away when it’s time. The menu is smaller than a full menu since we’re closed and a lot of stuff gets made in batches but there are burgers, so I figured you’d be okay with the limited options.” She said, sitting down in her own seat and smiling as one of her servers came over with water and to take their orders.
zach wildeZach was more than happy to feel Immy's lips against his again. He couldn't help his somewhat dopey grin as he said: "You never have to apologize for kissing me, Im." The fact that there was a surprise later caught Zach's surprise, but not enough to quickly pull out the chair for Immy.
Zach immediately ordered a burger, as they always did, and turned back to Immy. "So, back to this surprise.." They smiled, grabbing their water and taking a quick sip. "You're amazing. All of this?" Zach motioned towards the rooftop patio, and then towards her. "Amazing. I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world now up here with you."
Immy CortesIt shouldn’t have surprised her when Zach pulled out her chair, and yet it did, just a small gesture like that was exactly one of the reasons she knew they were still such a good person after all these years. Immy ordered her own food, glad to hear Zach ordering his usual, and blushed again at his words. “I was worried you would think I was doing too much, but then at the same time nothing felt like it was enough for you.” She bit her lip, “I might be just a little smitten, and I’ve never really had a chance to plan a date like this, not a real date with someone I actually care about, so if anyone here is the lucky one, it’s me.”
Immy leaned back in her chair, debating on telling him now what the surprise was, “Do you want to know what the surprise is or would you rather wait and see? I’m okay either way, but I think it will take a little explaining.” Another thought occurred to her, and she cleared her throat, then took a sip of water, hoping she didn’t sound to forward, “This doesn’t have to mean anything, but for the record, Malea is sleeping over at Haley’s tonight so, I guess I’m saying I don’t have a curfew tonight.”
zach wildeEverything between Immy had felt so charged. Even with them just sitting here with one another, Zach found themselves feeling so much. With Immy simply saying she was smitten with them, they felt their heart beat just a little bit faster. "How about we're both lucky?" Zach suggested, not being able to take his eyes off of her. In this lighting, she was absolutely breathtaking. "Just a little smitten?" Zach tilted his head to the side, smiling playfully. "I'll remember that. I'm a little bit smitten with you too, though."
Zach was going to respond to Immy concerning the surprise, but was taken aback when she told him that Malea was staying the night at Haley's. He couldn't help the way he immediately thought of all the things he could do with her, provided that was what she wanted. Perhaps that was thinking too far, but they couldn't help themselves. Immy was intoxicating. "Okay. But, just to be clear. Are you intending it to mean something?"
Immy Cortes“Okay, we’re both lucky,” Immy agreed. “Maybe more than a little on my part.” She admitted. Her blush deepened at their words and she shook her head, trying to figure out what she did mean. “I just mean, we’re adults and I’m physically attracted to you and I think you feel the same and I’m not saying we definitely should go home and bone,” she said with a laugh, “I just mean, we can go wherever the night takes us, I don’t believe in rules about needing to go on so many dates, and we don’t have to worry about me needing to rush out to get Malea. But if you’re wondering if I want to sleep with you, the answer is definitely yes.”
zach wildeZach couldn’t stop himself from smirking just a bit at her last comment. He cleared his throat and took a sip of water, taking a second before he replied with something too inappropriate for a first date. Instead, they focused on the feeling that Immy had felt comfortable enough with them to want that. He reached his hand over the table and took Immy’s hand in his own. Zach locked eyes with her. “Whatever you want. Everything will be at your pace. Personally, I’m okay with kissing you all night long like we’re in high school again.” He laughed, thinking back on how nervous he’d been to kiss her back then. “But just to let you know, my answer is definitely yes too. Just thought you should know.”
Immy CortesShe gave him her hand happily, squeezing theirs back gently. “The kissing all night is definitely an option, too.” But she was glad to hear that they were just as interested as she was. She was pulled from her thoughts when the food arrived, grateful for a break in the tension because she wasn’t sure if she was about to climb into their lap right here in the restaurant.
Immy thanked the server that brought the food and checked the time on her watch, they still had a decent amount of time before the sculpture instructor arrived. “Is your burger okay?” She asked, enjoying her pasta probably a little too quickly, but she was definitely a foodie and couldn’t help but dive right in. “Sorry,” she laughed as she pushed her nearly empty plate to the side, “I was hungry.”
zach wildeNo matter what, when there was a burger in front of Zach, he was going to inhale the thing like he'd never eaten before in his life. He looked up just in time for Immy to ask him if his food was good. He finished the large bite in his mouth and then nodded. "It's incredible. As someone who has eaten their fair share of burgers.. and by that, I mean, way too many fucking burgers.. this has got to be top ten." Zach wiped off their mouth, making sure there was nothing on their face. They looked at their finished plate and laughed. "Never apologize for eating. I'm sure it's incredible."
They finished up their burger quickly after that, pushing it to the side. Zach started feeling somewhat antsy about the supposed surprise, so he couldn't help but ask. "First off, thank you so much for dinner and setting this whole thing up. It really has been incredible. And second.. The more time that goes on, the more I'm wondering about this surprise. What do you have up your sleeves, Im?"
Immy CortesImmy grinned as they finished their food as well, “Well, I’ll have to let the chef know that you approve.” She smiled, declining to order any dessert for herself when the server came back for the plates, waiting to see if Zach wanted any.
Immy held her arms up at her sides slightly, “I have no sleeves,” she teased but didn’t want to keep him waiting. “Umm, hopefully this isn’t too strange but I saw you say that you’d like to try sculpting sometime. I hired someone from a local studio to come here and give us a lesson. She should be here soon, but if you’re not interested I can text her and tell her we’re all set.” She said, nerves suddenly taking over her.
zach wildeZach scrunched his nose, amused with Immy's little joke. However, he was stunned into silence when she explained that she hired someone to give them a lesson on sculpting. The whole idea that she'd seen their casual answer of a skill they'd like to learn, and made this happen. "I..." They started, not really knowing what to say. Sure, people had done some kind things for him before, but something about this felt different. It felt.. more. In a good way. In a really good way.
"I don't know what to say other than thank you. That's so thoughtful." With every passing second that Zach spent with Immy, they were becoming more and more sure that their feelings were for Immy and not just because of what they felt when they were teenagers. "Of course I'm interested." He paused. "How long until she's going to be here? Because I really want to kiss you."
Immy CortesThe silence dragged on for long enough for Immy to feel self conscious about the date she’d planned, but she felt herself relaxed when they seemed happy by the surprise. “We have about ten minutes.” She said, grinning as she looked around, not really wanting to make out in front of her staff but wanting to kiss them just as badly. “I could show you my office, if you wanted.” She offered, taking his hand and leading him to the door that lead to her office.
It wasn’t anything magnificent, just a desk and a couch pushed against the windows, but the view was almost as nice as the rooftop. “I just figured we could have some privacy for a few minutes and I don’t want to have to pay for therapy for my staff for forcing them to watch their boss come unglued on a date.” She smiled, stepping closer to them and resting her hands against his chest, “Zach, I just really hope you know how incredibly grateful I am for you, for believing the best of me even after all this time, for not believing your dad about me, for always making me feel safe, for so many things, really. I’ve never felt the same way about anyone as I have about you, and I appreciate you being willing to take things slow with me, but I truly can’t imagine that the way I’m feeling is all in my head. It’s not just feelings from when we were kids, not for me, I know that already.”
zach wildeZach was happy to be led into Immy's office. He took a look around, but soon thereafter focused all of his attention on her. He laughed. "Yeah.. That would be embarrassing for them and you, I think." When she stepped closed to them, they wrapped their arms around her waist and pulled them in closer. "There's nothing in this world that could make me believe anything that man says. And even then, I know you. I know you would've never done what he said." He took in a deep breath, just needing her to know that he was always going to feel that way.
Zach leaned down and pressed their lips against Immy's, letting it linger for a long moment before they pulled away. "Sorry. I can't help it. But.. I'm really glad you feel that way. Because ever since I've seen you tonight, I've known that it's not just leftover feelings. I think it's you, Immy. I'm just... so fucking crazy about you. I want to get to know everything about you, and what you've been doing these last years. I want to know what's been going on inside of that beautiful mind of yours. It was you then and it's you now, babe."
Immy CortesShe just couldn’t understand what she’d ever done in life to get as lucky as she was. She was blessed with the most amazing child, a career she loved, and for a long time she had felt that that was enough. She knew she could be content in life with just that, she wondered about maybe one day falling in love, but didn’t really see it for herself. But she never could have dreamed up this, having Zach Wilde holding her in their arms and telling her they were crazy about her. Immy lived her life in pure misery as a child, and then one day there was Zach, and he changed everything. And now she was an adult, living contently and accepting of that, and then again, one day there was Zach and it felt like everything could be different.
Immy felt a tear escape her but she quickly wiped it away, standing on her tip toes to press another kiss to their lips. “I don’t know how I ever got so lucky, between you and Malea I have to be the luckiest person on the planet to get to have you both in my life. I’ve never felt the way I felt about you with anyone else, not even Malea’s dad, and I truly didn’t think I ever would again until I saw you again.”
zach wilde
Zach kissed Immy on one cheek, and then the other, and then moved to her forehead. He wished that he could kiss her everywhere right then and there, just to show her how much she meant to him. They cupped Immy's cheek in their palm, just looking down at her and admiring her for everything that she was. "You've got me feeling really special, Im." Zach's voice was quiet, and he rubbed his thumb along her bottom lip, just looking at her.
"Looking at you like this, right now, I feel like the luckiest fucking person in the world." They took in a deep breath and smiled. "I struggle a lot, simply put. With my anxiety and ..just everything with my dad. Sometimes I swear I can hear his boots stomping down the hallway and straight to my room. I'll be up for hours trying to convince myself he's not in my house. Things feel really dark a lot of the time. But you're this bright light, allowing me to finally breathe just right."
Immy CortesIt was the way Zach seemed to really see her that had made Immy fall in love back then and it was the same thing that was making her fall so hard now. He didn’t just think she was hot, or want her body, he truly saw her and wanted her. There were still things they didn’t know about her past, and now wasn’t the time to bring them up, but somehow she knew that even if they did know, theyd still choose to be here with her. “You are special, Zach.”
She felt her heart breaking for them when they spoke, wishing she could take that pain away. She’d go through all of the pain she’d been through and then some if it meant sparing Zach from the pain of their own past. “I don’t know how but if you say so, then I’m glad I can do that for you. You know, you can call me. If you’re having a night like that, please call me. Or just come over, I don’t care what time it is, I’m a light sleeper, I’ll wake up and if I can’t make you feel better then at least we’ll be up together.”
zach wilde
Zach smiled. Of course she'd invite him over when he was having a particularly bad night. Most times, he found himself awake in the middle of the night and painting. It was the one thing that seemed to calm his nerves. But going over to Immy's sounded much better. Zach already knew he was going to take her up on that offer. "Just by being here again. That's how you do it. And I'm definitely going to be coming over. Any excuse to see you."
Not wanting to continue thinking about his dad, Zach opted for something better. "Now, I believe we came in here for a reason.." They trailed off, small smile playing on their lips. They pressed their body against hers, pulling her as close as possible before kissing her. He kissed her hungrily, wanting to capture the taste of her. Zach hummed happily into the kiss, and then pulled away after a couple of minutes. "Is this okay?"
Immy Cortes
She was more than happy to let him kiss her, enjoying it maybe even more than she should. If they weren't in her office she'd consider moving things beyond kissing, but was grateful for the break in her thoughts when they pulled away. "More than okay," She grinned, and then let out a sigh, "But unfortunately I think our instructor will be here soon, we should probably make our way back out there and save the rest of this for later."
things had quieted down between gia and garrett since their texting feud. it was utterly ridiculous how she had acted like sleeping with him would have been the world’s worst, most incurable disease, but they got past that hump in their “friendship”, or whatever they could call it. when garrett thought about it, they weren’t really friends, as much as they were forced chemistry partners, but an acquaintanceship would be more of an appropriate title. he had assumed that her friends stopped ragging on her for staying over at his place, but truthfully, all they had done was sleep next to each other on the couch, and yes, maybe his head had been on her shoulder, but big whoop. however, it was the first time garrett had ever slept next to a girl that he didn’t have sex with—what a miracle that was—and while the feeling was odd, he got over that. they didn’t speak of “that night”, as if they really had slept together and were trying to avoid it, or something, though garrett wasn’t going to be the one to say anything else about, because he really did not want to have her jumping down his throat again. it was neither here nor there, and the important thing was that they finished their chemistry project and received a grade that garrett was more than okay with. and to celebrate his accomplishment, not only just getting a good grade, but managing to work well with gia, he decided to reward himself by going to a party at one of the frat houses on campus. it was nothing new, and he would have gone even if he hadn’t done well on the project, but leave it to garrett to find a reason for anything.
truth be told, the party was kind of boring until about fifteen minutes after he had arrived, as he liked to think he livened things up, not that he needed proof, but his arrival at the party pretty much solidified his assumption. there were several girls that he could consider taking home for the night, but none of them really stood out. he’d keep searching. but as garrett was well aware, whenever he went searching for something was when he found trouble. “well, well, well. look at who we have here.” the voice was familiar, but garrett had been around so many women that he wasn’t quite sure who it belonged to. he turned around, the drink he was getting himself placed on the back burner for the time being, and was met with the face of a girl who he had hooked up with a few months ago. if he could remember correctly, her name was michelle, but there had been so many women after her that he couldn’t be one hundred percent sure. “remember me?” she questioned him, stepping into his personal space. she was pretty crazy, he had realized after sleeping with her, and no, he hadn’t made her that way, he just hadn’t received the warnings that everyone had text to him. “yeah, definitely.” his eyebrows were raised in surprise, but his voice was monotone. he was not excited to see her, and needed a way out fast. “i’ll be right back.” he nodded in affirmation, excusing himself and moving from the vicinity that she was in. he needed someone, anyone that would help him. he needed a fake girlfriend, and the thought alone made him laugh, because the last time he had been fake anything with someone, he met gia.
gia. she had to help him, as he had helped her before, and he wasn’t trying be a selfish asshole, but he knew that if he had the help of someone, then michelle would leave him alone. garrett quickly pulled out his phone, searching up gia’s phone number and sending her a quick text to ask if she was at the party. he couldn’t wait for a response, however, as he saw michelle making her way towards him again. he hurried off through the house, searching left and right for gia. she had to be there, as she had been at the last party, but if that was any judgment then she probably didn’t come to the current, as the former hadn’t gone so well. “fuck.” he grumbled as he looked at every girl from the back wondering if it was her, but being completely disappointed when it wasn’t. he could have picked a random girl, yes, but he was trying to get rid of one crazy person, not have another thinking that they were dating because he asked them to pretend. “have you seen gia?” he questioned one of the girls he thought was her, wondering if girls had girl senses, or whatever, but to no avail. he was about to give up when he caught sight of her from the corner of his eyes, and without any more hesitation he darted over in her direction. “hey, babe.” she was going to kill him, yes, but he was hoping that gia would pull out the smarts that she clearly had, and realize that he wasn’t just doing it to be annoying. he closed the distance between them, leaning down to whisper into her ear. “i need your help. there’s some psycho bitch here that i know won’t leave me alone unless she thinks i’m swooning over someone.” he pulled away, his eyes looking damn near like a puppy’s with the level of pathetic written all over them. “please.” he didn’t need another stage five clinger in his life, and gia was the perfect person to help divert them.
the past few weeks had been rough, to say the least. chelsea had been balancing celeste and work like a professional, but that didn’t mean that it wasn’t tiring. honestly, if her place of employment hadn’t been giving her more time off as she requested, then she probably would have quit, but with more time off came more demand for chelsea’s appearance, which meant more money for the owner of the strip club and more money for herself. with her being in such high demand, the price of her private dances skyrocketed, but people actually paid the new prices, because, well, chelsea was good at what she did, and though she felt bad for hiding it from celeste, she continued to do so, knowing well that the ballet dancer would call it quits with whatever was going on between them. chelsea couldn’t lose celeste, and yes, she was well aware that she was lying, and that the truth should have been out in the very beginning of their relationship forming, but she was in too deep now to backtrack and tell her friend the truth about what she did for a living and not lose her. celeste was the first real thing the exotic dancer had ever experienced, and while it was still scary as developing feelings for someone was, and it took everything in chelsea’s power to not run from it, she was learning as their relationship progressed, which was a bigger step for chelsea than for most. it was like when the united states put a man on the moon... it seemed nearly impossible, but they did it, and while chelsea wasn’t being sent to the moon, or anything of that nature, she still felt like it was a giant step for her. shit, it wasn’t just a shock to chelsea that she could actually form feelings for someone past desire, it was a shock to her whole social circle. everyone that knew chelsea, and now knew that she was involved with someone, couldn’t believe it. they looked at her as if she was crazy, most of them asking if she had fallen ill with the flu and was becoming delusional. she would fake a laugh, almost offended that people thought she was so incapable, but knowing that they were right. it was odd for her to be involved with someone, and when people thought of chelsea, they thought of her and only her, and they never would have pictured her with someone by her side.
the night was date night. the duo had gone on several in the past few weeks, and it was almost becoming a ritual. it reminded chelsea of the first night they met when they went to dinner, and she forced celeste’s hand to let her pay. she relived that day over, and over, and over again in her head, laughing every time she thought about celeste planting the twenty dollar bill in her car as if she wouldn’t find it and put it all together. that first night they went out, it hadn’t been a date, but it opened up a world that chelsea would have never thought that she’d be in. it wasn’t a bad thing, as the raven haired girl had learned to accept her feelings for the ballet dancer, noting that she felt more relived since she had began indulging in them rather than burying them down to the point where her mind went haywire. her feelings were sincere for her friend, something she never would have deemed possible, but as she walked up to celeste’s home for what felt like the millionth time, chelsea found herself smiling as the butterflies fluttered in her stomach. it happened every time they went on a date, and at first, chelsea rolled her eyes, not being able to believe that she was acting like such a child, but as time went on, she began to give free rein to her nerves and accepted them as part of the progress. maybe they would stop as time went on, or maybe they would be a constant thing for as long as she and celeste were involved, and if it was the latter then she would revel in it. she knocked on the door of celeste’s home, telling herself to calm down, that she had done it several times in the past few weeks, but that didn’t stop her nerves. it was like celeste set off a fire in chelsea’s body, and the mere thought of the ballet dancer would ignite the flame. it was a good thing—a great thing. they were growing in their relationship together, making sure that the other wasn’t ever far behind. it was a beautiful thing that they were sharing, and while chelsea was still apprehensive, as long as she had celeste she would try, and if she failed she would get back up and try again, but thus far, she had been good with staying on track, talking about her feelings when needed, and showing emotions whenever the time proved to be right. everything was falling into places, though places that chelsea didn’t know existed, but places nonetheless.
Elliott was very happy when they talked to Blaine and found out the other loved music as much as they did. They hadn’t really found the greatest of friends while they were at Westmore yet and the conversation they had with Blaine had given them a little hope. The other seemes like a very calming and intellectual person to Elliott and they were drawn to that, they wanted to spend time with Blaine and see how their chemistry would be. The plan was to make some music and have fun but they were definitely up for anything the evening would bring. They didn’t really know what kind of person Blaine was yet, they only knew the smallest things about him. Elliott was definitely excited to get to know much more, though. Blaine was promising and that excited them.
They made their way to Blaine’s room and knocked on the door once they arrived. Since they were going to do music, Elliott’s outfit was a lot more consistent of leather than usual but that was just the way they liked to look when they were about to perform. Perhaps some of the reason was to impress Blaine a little bit too, but only a little bit.
