The man laughed. “I was a little worried I was at the wrong place.” He turned back and shuffled over as he unzipped the thermal bag. “This is like some government office, right?” “Senate affairs,” Hawk evenly supplied. Or, Hawk falls hard for a pizza delivery worker despite his best attempts not to.

Within The Heart of Me by drabbleswabbles💠 [NR, 14K] Lucy goes to the hospital to talk to Tim. When she arrives, Hawk is already there.

Otherwise known as a prompt fill that wanders a bit off the mark, but is close enough in spirit to give credit where credit is due as far as inspiration goes.

I believe that this little tale of a lost first love broke down any boundary that might have stopped Hawk from starting a courtship with Tim.

Kenny says something about how he loves this one. It could be the first time he’s hearing it, for all I know. He falls in love with everything. – A multi-chapter fic following a young Hawk and Kenny throughout their relationship, from beginning to end.

These Foolish Things [E, 4K WIP] By phoenix_ascended | @phoenix-ascended After the awful, disastrous three-way with Craig and Hawk on Fire Island, Tim comes down to breakfast, fully expecting Rafael to walk him to the ferry.

He walks down the short corridor to the few steps that lead into the living room, half-dreading that Hawk will have just gone straight back to the bump, anything to deaden the pain. Instead, he’s sitting at the table in a floral silk robe, red-rimmed eyes, fingernails bitten down to the quick.

“Everyone else still asleep?” Tim asks, as he puts his brown leather bag down near the door, hesitating to join Hawk at the table. He feels overdressed, as he has so often these last few days, in his checked flannel over a white T-shirt, his jeans where everyone else has been in shorts or less.

“I… kicked them out.” Hawk’s voice is rough, the echoes of his sobbing last night, inconsolable in Tim’s arms. He almost sounds surprised at himself, unsure that what he’s saying is true. A canon-divergent fix-it where Tim stays in Fire Island for an extra week while Hawk detoxes, and they discover whether they can trust each other with their truth.

Following the blast of the Nazi’s K5 railway gun, he underwent surgery to repair sustained shrapnel damage and is now recovering in the Army’s 32nd Evac Hospital. In the bed next to him lies Corporal Marcus Gaines from the 85th Infantry Division, also wounded in action.
