I am still catching up stuff from 2022, but I’m excited to finally show this piece off! For the amazing @thebooktopus, who won one of my 2022 @fandomtrumpshate art bids. Thank you so much for your support and for always believing in me! Maddy requested Wolfstar, trans!Sirius, tattoos, a tiny bit of 🌶️ (if you squint), and chose the colour palette, which worked so well for this piece! She also gave me some awesome ideas to run with that I couldn’t pass up because a. this was my first time drawing this ship and b. this was my first time drawing a trans character and c. I wanted to give it a go in drawing something new. Maddy has been sooo patient with me as I slowly chipped away at this while wrestling with RL’s chaos. So glad we made it to the finish line! My friend, you’re a star🌟 to work with. I hope I did justice for what you envisioned, and that this piece brightens up your day. Chapter Nine: A Little Chat

I've phoned my supervisor and am relaxing in front of Only Fools and Horses when my phone dings.

It's not him. And even if it was, heart, that's no reason to go racing like that.

Oh.

It is you.

And - I've been summoned.

A brief question of whether I should go shoots through my mind but is ignored as I run to the bedroom to get dressed. Black jeans and a black shirt worked last night - not a band shirt, just plain. And reasonably tight.

Perfect. Not very different from yesterday - identical, in fact - but you see me in a suit at work and none of my other clothes are quite so figure-hugging.

I text back – ‘On my way, Sir’

Thus ends the first book of Every Fairy Tale - because we need to finish the FTH fanwork before 31 December.

I’ve finally gotten around to finishing up this Neville art piece for @swoontodeath, who won my 2nd 2022 @fandomtrumpshate art bid. Thank you so much for your support and your everlasting patience on this! (And oh heyy, this also marks my 100th piece posted on AO3?! That’s a fun milestone!} Lauren wanted Neville with some tea shop owner vibes, based on her Neville from her amazing Neville/Oliver fic, this feels right (and i'm letting it)- make sure to check it out! She also chose the colour palette, which worked great for this piece. I’m so glad Lauren brought a bunch of ideas to the table for this from the get-go, because a. this was my first time drawing Neville (he’s soooo great to draw and we need more Neville art in this world) and b. the tea vibes with his tattoos made this so awesome! Like, he’s soft yet confident, and that’s everything! My friend, you’ve been so great to work with, and thanks again for hanging in there during the crazy RL chaos journey and for believing in me.
